A whole new world.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is bar-none the best entry-level VR headset there is, and while it does suffer from a slightly neutered catalog the price you’re paying for the services rendered far outweigh any others - yes the valve index has a far more interesting and advanced control system. But the display on the PSV2 is stunning, and its set-up is seamless. When this released at $600, it was tremendously overpriced. Now, at $350? You couldn’t make a better budget-friendly choice. Or you simply love Sony as a company - and if that’s the case you’d be wise to pair your PS5pro with their a95 series television. And in the hopes I get both gift cards they owe me (I’m not forgetting what you did to me with that fridge. It took months to get here and you promised) Just as I promise You’d be most wise to purchase this entire list from Best-Buy to get some kind of deal I’d bet they offer + members.

An amazing piece of tech
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PSVR2 is the truth so far. Games are great. graphics are great. the cord is cumbersome sometimes if you get too involved in the games. The controllers take some time to get used to, but once you di they perform as advertised. So far the best game is GT7. I hate GT games, but using GT7 in VR has made me appreciate GT games at a level I didn't think possible. I'm hitting the lines, braking when I should, and I feel totally like a race care driver when sitting in the cockpit of a sports car. it is is unreal and amazing to say the least. Worth the purchase . i use it to watch movies too to get that theatre feel, and the only thing missing is the popcorn.

VR Headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my VR headset and the game it came with...Amazing! I am scared of heights IRL and this had me sweating and double checking to make sure I was not actually in the sky LOL

Cool system, watch the cord though
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great VR system only downside is the cord from the headset has to be connected to the playstation which can be dangerous when moving around. You would want to play this someone watching you to make sure you don't get tangled in the cord. If the headset was wireless it would be even better.

Upgrade your VR to an IMAX level experience.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned an Oculus Go and the first Oculus Quest prior to purchasing the PSVR2. I purchased a PS5 specifically so I could get a PSVR2 and I have no regrets. The PS5 alone is a great gaming device (I already own an Xbox Series X, Switch OLED) so this new VR device is what made me take the plunge. This device blows the Oculus out of the water in terms of technical capabilities and presentation. Call of the Mountain is a great way to experience this right out of the box, and is a fun way to be immersed in the Horizon universe from a different perspective. This is a wondeful bundle and worth it as purchasing the device standalone still requires you to make a separate game purchase to play anything. The device is very light for a VR headset, and thanks to a single, long thin cord and that alone, you get the power of PS5 graphics in a VR headset. All this without the heavy battery overheating your forehead you have in the standalone headsets like the Quest. If you can afford the cost, well worth the price of admission. Not to mention an already great game library (Resident Evil Village VR, No Man's Sky VR, Star Wars Tales of Galaxy's Edge, and many more). My other issue with Oculus is the constant headset upgrades every 1-3 years which gets very pricey. This device will most likely last the console generation.

Great VR Headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony PS VR2 is a huge leap forward in virtual reality. The visuals are stunning with its crisp OLED display, vibrant colors, and smooth refresh rate, making every detail pop. The headset feels comfortable and lightweight, even during longer gaming sessions, and the adjustable fit is perfect. The new Sense controllers are incredibly responsive, with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers that make gameplay feel more immersive than ever. Tracking is precise, setup is easy, and the overall experience feels next-gen in every way. Sony has truly set a new standard for console VR.

Very pleased with my purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My original product had a malfunction in the controller but with purchasing the geek squad protection I was able to take it to the Best Buy store and was issued a new headset and controllers without an issue. Customer service was more than I expected!

Great with a couple flaws.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The level of available software is a little light but this is a fantastic product. It fits comfortably and the controllers are fantastic. Software is coming and there are some amazing experiences waiting. The eye tracking is sutteal and incredibly accurate. Also, the product fits with epole that have glasses too. I am knocking it down one star because existing software from the psvr 1 is not backwards compatible but is a great product and is leaps and bounds better than the previous VR offering from Sony.

Hardware and software problems are common.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PSVR2 is a five star product when its working correctly. The cost is high so I know it isnt for everyone but I think its the best VR experience that I have tried. Its better than the VR businesses that strap on the computer backpacks. Problem 1: the controllers would flip face buttons between the left and right controllers. A TON of people have experiences this issue. There is a method of blowing into the triggers or flicking them that seems to works well. This was not a known solution when I purchased the aet so I had to return it. It was the only thing that my daughter asked for dor Christmas and it was sold out everywhere so I had to wait 3 days to get a new one. The PS5 OS has no diagnostics for controllers (unlike the Switch) which makes it difficult to look up a solution. Problem 2: Best Buy did not add any cushion to the replacement box that they sent me and it was shaken around like crazy. The box was damaged and the headset would not power on. The USBC cable was disconnected at the headset (hidden inside when you pull the face visor out). It must have shaken lose when the package was thrown or kicked from storage to plane to truck. Neither of these issues should exist in a 600 dollar product. My dad experience with the PSVR2 is zero stars. My daughters experience is 5 stars, so I am splitting the difference.

Really Cool
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought an open box version in excellent condition. It arrived perfect. Anywho, this thing is so cool. I love playing No Man’s Sky with it. My kids are addicted to Beat Saber. Makes me want to get a racing setup to play Gran Turismo 7 in VR. Setup of it is really easy and fully guided. I really like that it keeps track of where you are standing to show you when you move out of the play area.

Mind-blowing VR experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This bundle is an absolute game-changer. The PlayStation VR2 is incredibly immersive—everything feels crisp, smooth, and so real it’s hard to believe you’re still in your living room. Horizon Call of the Mountain is the perfect intro to this next-gen VR. The visuals are stunning, the controls are responsive, and the gameplay is both intense and beautiful. Setup was way easier than I expected, and once you’re in, you’re in. It’s one of the most cinematic and engaging gaming experiences I’ve had in a long time. Huge shoutout to Best Buy for fast shipping and flawless packaging. If you’re thinking about upgrading your VR game, this is 100% the bundle to go with.

The most advanced VR headset under $1,000
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Eye tracking, OLED screens, inside out tracking, haptics, high resolution. It's very impressive what Sony has managed to pack into a $550 headset. I've had no bad experiences so far, and I've been absolutely blown away by the quality of the graphics and the accuracy of the motion tracking. I've owned every major VR headset since the Oculus SDK2 and I can say the only two VR headsets you will ever need are the meta Quest 2 and PSVR2. They serve entirely different purposes but if you are into VR for immersion and fun, this is the product to buy.

Easy to setup
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to set up with the PS5 - though I recommend charging the controllers before attempting to set up. If you get frustrated with the way a game handles, check the settings for how the controllers interact with the game. I kept dropping drum sticks in a demo game and it was the game settings that were making me frustrated, not the usability of the actual controllers I don’t like the earphones that come with it, but that’s my own issue.

A Game-Changing Experience
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Are you ready to take your gaming to the next level? Look no further than the PlayStation VR 2! As a high schooler navigating the world of virtual reality, I was skeptical at first, but let me tell you, this device blew me away. First off, let's talk about the immersive experience. From the moment I put on the sleek headset, I was transported to another world. Whether I was exploring ancient ruins, battling futuristic robots, or simply chilling in a virtual lounge, every moment felt real and exhilarating. Now, let's address the elephant in the room – the left controller pairing issue. Initially, I encountered some frustration when my left controller refused to sync up. However, thanks to the helpful guidance of the sales associate, I was able to exchange it for a replacement without any hassle. Problem solved! Once everything was up and running smoothly, I was amazed by the precision and responsiveness of the controllers. Whether I was wielding a virtual sword or delicately manipulating objects in a puzzle game, the motion tracking was spot on, making every action feel natural and intuitive. The graphics are another standout feature of the PlayStation VR 2. With stunning visuals and smooth frame rates, the games come to life in vivid detail. Whether you're exploring vast open worlds or engaging in intense firefights, the graphics will leave you breathless. And let's not forget the amazing bundle deal that included "Horizon Call of the Mountain." This game alone is worth the price of admission, offering hours of immersive gameplay set in a breathtaking world. But perhaps the best part of the PlayStation VR 2 is the sense of community it fosters. Whether you're teaming up with friends for a multiplayer adventure or sharing your experiences online, the VR community is vibrant and welcoming, adding a whole new dimension to the gaming experience. In conclusion, if you're looking to elevate your gaming experience to new heights, look no further than the PlayStation VR 2. With its immersive gameplay, precise controls, stunning graphics, and vibrant community, it's a game-changer in every sense of the word.

Fell in love with goggles.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing product graphics are crisp and gameplay feels amazing, controllers are easy to grip and just great overall for long solo sessions. But when it comes to playing with a group or family it can be alot of tedius readjusting of the lens to get that perfect clear visual. I also have the meta quest 3 i know people will make comparisons, and the mixed reality and ease of set up definitely makes it a great option but me personally i like long sessions to immerse myself and psvr 2 definitely takes the cake on this one, we just need some more exclusives

Welcome to the world of VR!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the PS VR for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s an incredible experience, especially if you're new to VR! The quality of the visuals is surprisingly sharp and immersive for the price point, with vibrant colors and details that make you feel right in the middle of the action. Tracking accuracy is solid—movements are generally smooth and well-aligned with the in-game environment, which really pulls you into the gameplay. That said, it's not without a few downsides. One of my biggest issues is the battery life of the controllers. It’s not terrible, but it could definitely be better; I find myself needing to charge more frequently than I’d like, especially during longer gaming sessions. And while the visuals are good, I occasionally notice a slight screen-door effect if I’m paying close attention. Lastly, the setup with all the cables can be a bit messy if you’re trying to keep a clean gaming space. Despite these minor cons, I’d still recommend PS VR to anyone looking for a quality VR experience without breaking the bank. It’s easy to dive into, the games are fun and engaging, and the pros far outweigh the few hiccups!
