This is my first VR experience. It’s quite impressive. The controllers are comfortable and the headset was easy to set up and get going. The only downside is the cable connecting the headset to the console.

I’ve been using the PlayStation VR2 on PS5 and overall it’s one of the most impressive VR experiences I’ve had in terms of visuals. The image quality is genuinely next-level — easily some of the sharpest and most immersive VR I’ve seen. Comfort-wise, it’s not perfect out of the box. After longer sessions it can start to feel a bit heavy and awkward, but adding a few accessories (like better head straps and padding) makes a noticeable difference and improves the experience a lot. The biggest downside right now is the limited game library. There just isn’t a huge selection yet that really shows off what it can do. That said, I’m pretty excited for where it’s headed, especially with more games coming and the possibility of PC adapter support expanding what you can play. Right now it feels like a system that’s slightly ahead of its content — but when it hits, it really hits. The visuals alone make it worth experiencing.

The device in itself is mind blowing. As soon as you enter the world of Horizon CoTM, you’re simply awestruck by how amazing, detailed and realistic the virtual world around you is. My issue was the controllers, one of which always bugged out in games. There are a lot of workarounds online to fix it, but I dont want to deal with them every time I want to play. Would be great if Sony decides to fix this.

my playstation vr2 has been an incredible experience and really takes gaming to another level the visuals are sharp and immersive the headset feels comfortable and well built and the sense controllers are responsive and natural to use the haptic feedback and eye tracking make games feel more realistic and engaging and once you put it on it is easy to forget you are not actually inside the game overall it feels like a huge upgrade in virtual reality and makes every gaming session exciting and unforgettable

Facemask makes you sweaty and if you wear for to long you get a headache. Graphics pretty great. Very realistic and makes you feel like you are in the game.

Gonna have to say that the PlayStation VR2 headset has the best graphics so far hands down. Only downside is that your tethered to your game station which is a downer, and the lack of variety of games available. The competitor Meta VR headset might be wireless which is pretty awesome and it allows you to feel more engaged while playing since your not having to worry about that contast wire and if your gonna trip yourself up or knock stuff down. The Meta does have a variety of games for everyone, but graphics are mediocre and the headset doesn’t adjust as well as the PlayStation VR2. Overall adult graphic games are best played on the PlayStation VR2, so worth it. Has a more realistic feel, so ve warned when you play Madison!!

MUST READ FIRST: the PSVR2 has had a really bad quality review process from Sony and there are MANY people online reporting of issues with one or both of the controllers not working in games (but does work in the PS5 dashboard). The problem stems from the trigger, one of the buttons, or joysticks. The controller thinks one of them is already pressed (partially or fully), so when you go into a game the game thinks you are already pulling the trigger or pressing the button. Do NOT try to fix the issue with the recommended remedies online (factory reset, turn off/on, update firmware, etc). They will not work or will only give temporary reprieve. You will be wasting your time trying to fix it. Just return it immediately and exchange for a new one. The PS5 PSVR2 has been really fun to play with. I spend most of my time playing in Beat Saber. The tracking works really well. The camera on the headset that lets you see the room you are in is a super low resolution and black-white only, so you can really only use it to find out where you are in the room in case you moved or find the controllers without taking the headset off. Most games give me motion sickness if I try to use the joystick on the controllers to move and I have to resort to teleporting to get around. Jurassic Park for some reason doesn't give me motion sickness though and I can run around freely in it. The game library is pretty weak in comparison to other headset options, but I refused to give money to Facebook. You really want to try and get it on sale though for it to feel like you are getting your money's worth. The lenses are really good to look at and I don't ever feel like I am straining my eyes. Because I do have nearsightedness, I will occasionally have to adjust the headset to see better. I have worn this for well over an hour before my nose starts to hurt.

I wanted to love this, but just not for me. Ended up returning it. Graphics look great, sweet spot isn't the best. If you are moving around it can fog up and the cord gets to be annoying as well. Controllers don't hold a great charge either so there's some work to be done. The AAA games made me nauseous and dizzy. Arcade demos were a ton of fun and didn't get nauseous but not going to keep for some arcade games. Overall a great deal for $350 if you are into VR.

    BETTER HARDWARE/WEAKER SOFTWARE

Quite the advancement over the previous model for the PS4. More comfortable, better looking, and audio options built into it. The biggest issue is the limited software, which is a lot fewer or major type of games compared to its predecessor, that had a wider library. However, with PlayStation taking cues from Meta on how to design a better controller, but mixed with PlayStation's haptic technology makes it more comfortable and it's more intuitive ease of use without the necessity of the PlayStation Camera makes it a lot easier to set up. Again, just wish the software options (including physical software) is severely limited.

The PlayStation VR2 Horizon bundle is an amazing entry into next-gen virtual reality. The visuals are stunning with the OLED display, and the eye tracking and haptics add a whole new layer of immersion. Horizon Call of the Mountain is the perfect showcase for the system—gorgeous environments, intuitive controls, and intense moments that really pull you in. Setup was quick, and the hardware feels premium. This bundle delivers everything you need for an outstanding VR experience.

This is another tough review and I think it falls on Sony. I don't know what the problem is if its the cost or not pumping out enough games but the more people that gets behind this thing the better. I know a lot of people are skeptical because of all the negative reviews but ultimately as a gamer it's worth it. The experience I had with Gran Turismo and a racing rig was like no other and everyone who has tried it can vouch. We also just recently had the Hitman release which turned out to be a huge success. Yes we don't have as many games as the Quest and it has a smaller sweet spot than quest but it is still more than doable. The Global Cluster is a life changing accessory with the headset and it's a real shame that Sony didn't factor this in. It's not that expensive of an upgrade. Just get both of them and you shouldn't regret it. Also if you love racing like me and are wondering if that experience alone is worth it, it is! Our recent Hitman addition was what Batman is to the Quest. If you're deciding between one or the other it's a really tough spot to be in. I had to come to the ultimatum that in a perfect world would be to own both and it really is. Save up or get one now and the other one later. That's what I did. I started with this headset and got the Quest later.

You can't beat the graphics, OLED quality and comfort for the price. Especially if you buy open box like I did. Way more comfortable than my friends quest 3, and the OLED panels really shine. Small sweet spot but it's really not a big deal for me. Once you get it situated, picture looks amazing. Recommend buying the globus adaptor for more comfort and to lock in placement. GT7 is one of the funniest VR experiences I've had. The big bonus for me though was also being able to use it with my PC for all the VR games I have on Steam. This headset will easily hold me over until portable headsets with micro OLED panels come down in price (gonna be awhile). 10/10 high recommend.

Based on your experience, here's a suggested review you could share: --- Up until this Friday, VR was just another tech buzzword to me—I hadn't paid it much mind. But on a whim, I decided to give it a shot and see what the fuss was about. The experience was nothing short of revelatory. The immersion VR offers is unparalleled; it genuinely feels like you're stepping inside the game. The landscapes, the sounds, the interactions—all crafted to trick your senses into believing you're in another reality. It's an experience that's hard to describe with words alone. If you've been on the fence about VR, or if it's never even been on your radar, I urge you to try it. It has completely transformed my views on virtual reality and the potential it holds for gaming and beyond. Don't miss out on this—it's a game-changer.

Amazing! So much fun! The cord hasn't really been bothersome. Playing GT7 with the VR2 headset, a steering wheel, pedals, & a shifter makes it feel like you are actually in the car racing. My family has had so much fun with this VR2 headset so far. The Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle makes this deal even more worth it! Thank you Best Buy for always having the best deals & financing options. If you are on the fence about this one I don't think you will regret buying it.

Also got the five but sadly the cord takes al title to get used to. However it has better graphics and speed of use compared to the other popular vr set up. I have both and this has been used more. Very nice with its ability to custom fit to your face and light to wear. Controls are actually easy to use. Wish they had 1/4 stars because I would give it a 4 3/4

The VR2 is quite impressive. The graphics are amazing and immersive. The controllers didn't take long to get used to and the haptic feedback was more than expected. In the beginning I had to take breaks around every 10-15 mins as my neck would and head would start to ache. I can game for about 30 mins now before I have to break. Setting the headset up was pretty easy with the instructions and on screen help.

Its a fantastic experience and I recommend getting one. However, the first unit I recieved, the right controller did not function properly. They had to send an entirely new system just to replace controller. The replacement unit came without the PS factory sticker seal… but everything is working. None of this was BB’s fault. Just a bad control from factory. The customer support during the issue was professional, courteous, and resolved my issue immediately.
