I purchased this due to the recent sale, and was looking forqard to recieving it. However, the PSVR2 I recieved is already open and clearly used. There is dust and various detritus in the box, and one of the lenses of the headset is dirty. I did not purchase an open box product, nor did I recieve a further discount due to the product having been used. The sale also ends today, and it isn’t in stock nearby, so I don’t really have too many options available to actually get a new product like I paid for. The code for the game is unused at least. Be wary if purchasing this from Best Buy. I’d only buy in person or from Playstation directly.

The experience may be good, but there are not enough games. I don't think it's worth $650 for one or two games

Such a let down. Truly could be more but with the horrible game selection this was a waste of money in my opinion.

I finally took the plunge and bought one of these during the Best Buy black Friday sales. Couldnt pass up for $350. Set up for tjis is not difficult but takes a lot of time to find that perfect sweet spot so the picture is not grainy and blurry. I returned after a couple of say becuase the picture quality is terrible. If ypu're okay with low quality graphics and buy it for what it is, then go for it otherwise I would stay away from this and wait for next gen VR as this is a complete cash grab from Sony.

High End VR for an Affordable price!

First and foremost, PSVR2 is better than PSVR1 in every single way. The graphics are far better, the tracking is far more accurate, no need for an external camera set up, and no confusing mess of cords. The entire headset is powered and hooked up through a single USB-C cord, to the front of a PlayStation 5. You can turn around! The cameras are built into the front of the headset, so you can quickly turn around and you won't lose tracking. Analog sticks on both controllers gives developers so many more options. The sense controllers coming in the box means no more lack of uniformity between games. You either use the PS5 Sense controller, or the PSVR2 Sense Controllers. That's it. No more schlocky games with odd control schemes. The new controllers are a game changer. Adaptive triggers add a whole new level of satisfaction. Pulling a trigger is so satisfying. The headset can rumble, like when you hit a wall in Gran Turismo 7 at 120 miles per hour, or when you get punched in Creed. Eye tracking is not a gimmick. On top of foveated rendering, where graphical improvement is made where you are looking in game, but it can also have surprising effect, like when you play PokerStars VR and can watch your opponent glance at their cards. As someone who migrated from PlayStation VR1, the difference is incredible. No more worrying about the perfect lighting, or reflective clothing, the positioning of my external camera when sitting or standing. The games possible on PSVR2 are insane. Gran Turismo 7 is amazing, Resident Evil 8 is impressive, and Horizon Call of the Mountain is beautiful. The same games that were available on PSVR1, such as After the Fall, are made much better on PSVR2, with improved graphics, haptic feedback from the headset, adaptive triggers, and analog sticks on each controller. Yes, you have a single cord running from the headset, but you can run it up a pulley system if it bothers you. A friend of mine has a Quest 2 and rarely gets to play. As a result, whenever he does, his headset is never charged enough. I'll take a corded headset with improved graphics over a wireless one. Once you get past motion sickness if you are new to Virtual Reality gaming, this will change the way you think of gaming. As for Horizon Call of the Mountain, it is primarily a climbing game. But the mechanics are satisfying, the occasional combat is fun, and the game is astoundingly beautiful. New tools for climbing every level or so spice things up just enough. The bundle will save you some money on the game, which surely won't go on sale for a while.

This is a disappointment for Sony. Purchase this product as a Christmas gift and the product has so many defects after setting up the Play area. The Primary issue with this product is the in game play controls does not work. I had to reset the controllers every time I start the game. This process had to be repeated with 5 other PSVR 2 games. Rushed product with no support from Sony since launched. Terrible product from SONY.

Bought open box excellent and received heavily used that used for trying out (probably worn by 1,000+ people), no manual, no game, and for 350?? Don’t trust open boxes.
