I see multiple people rating this 1 star due to them purchasing an open box. Their issue was that the redemption card was missing for the included game. What did you really expect?? As I've tried both the VR2 and the Meta 3 and in my honest opinion the PSVR2 is hands down better than the Meta 3! The graphics are comparable but I feel like Sony did a better job. The eye tracking is also definitely a plus. There are 4 things that came down to my decision. (1) I feel immersed like I am really in the scene when I am on the VR2. I don't get that feeling on the Meta. (2) I got headaches while playing the Meta which I did not on the VR2. (3) I bought the VR2 for $350 while it was on sale. I was hesitant buying it for $600 but after testing both I feel like the VR2 is the better of the headsets regardless of price. (4) I am torn on this on but the Meta headset dies extremely fast. I don't like the fact of being connected on the VR2 but I'd rather that than the headset dying so fast. I got rid of the Meta 3 and look forward to spending much more time with my VR2. Horizon is a fabulous game and it's definitely a bonus it comes with the
VR2. I was skeptical of the game prior to purchasing because I am not used into this type of game but I got sucked right in and can't stop playing it.

I really love this headset. My son and I started to use it right out of the box. Overall I like the feel of the vr headset and the ability to tighten to each of our comfort levels is much nicer than the Meta VR we have. The hand controllers have a great fit for both myself and my son who has smaller hands. Star Wars is such an awesome game to play on this vr headset and the realism of moving your head out from behind a rock is so amazing. I can feel myself smiling and getting so in to the game just because of the way it feels. Love it and I have NO complaints whatsoever. The included Horizon game is also a great game to have. The length of the connecting wire is long enough to have in our space however it would be great if this was able to be wireless would be even more amazing for this product.

PSVR2 + GT7 Is Absolutely Next-Level

The PSVR2 completely transformed the way I play Gran Turismo 7. I’ve used plenty of racing setups before, but nothing even comes close to the level of immersion this headset delivers. The moment you sit in the cockpit in VR, it feels like a totally different game — the sense of speed, depth, and scale is unreal. You can actually judge corners, braking points, and elevation changes so much more naturally. It genuinely makes you a better driver.
The headset itself is incredibly sharp, comfortable, and responsive. The OLED screens make GT7 look stunning, with vibrant colors and super clean details. The eye tracking works flawlessly and the foveated rendering keeps everything running smooth, even during intense races. The haptic feedback in the headset adds another layer of realism you don’t even know you were missing until you try it.

The PlayStation VR2 (PS VR2) is a major upgrade over its predecessor, offering a significantly improved virtual reality experience for PlayStation 5 users. The Sense controllers offer advanced haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, providing a more immersive experience. Additionally, the PS VR2 supports eye-tracking for more responsive gameplay. While the game library is still growing, the device offers impressive graphics and an immersive experience that showcases the potential of VR gaming on the PlayStation platform. However, it does require a PlayStation 5 console and a dedicated space for optimal use. Overall, it's a solid choice for VR enthusiasts seeking an upgrade.

This was by far the best gift for my 9yo, The included equipment are attached headphones, hand controllers and the Call of the Mountian game (not sure if it's a physical copy or a download). The headset fit my little one great and is comfortable even with the use of glasses. I give it 4 stars because though the graphics are aligned with the Playstation brand, the catalog could use a few more titles. The camera is sold separately.

If you have games, or have a list of games that you're interested in trying in VR, this headset is one of the best in raw specs.
Big FoV, high res, lightweight, comfortable (non-absorbent) padding, eye tracking, and excellent controllers. It is a wired headset, but if you can accommodate that (or at least be mindful of it), this device will yield high quality VR experiences when paired with the right titles.
Call of the Mountain is a prime example and an excellent showcase of its capabilities. Navigating menus with only your eyes and no controllers was a bizarre yet fascinating experience, and that's just the beginning.
Overall, this headset is excellent, but it will only be as good as the software it's paired with, so study up on what's recommended or popular to decide if this is for you.

The PSVR 2 is an overall excellent Virtual Reality headset. I can play games with significantly better graphics than on the original, and it has upgrades for comfort and competes well with the meta quest via its ability to allow you to see your surroundings by a push of a button. However, it does have limited games, and has trouble seeing your surroundings in the dark since it doesn’t use a traditional camera like the original PSVR. Worth the buy though.

Great VR for the PlayStation. Eye tracking is pretty spot on and the hand controls are easy to get used to as well. Headset fits nice and snug, but can get a tad uncomfortable after extended periods of use. You will have face markings. The original PSVR made me nauseous using it, However I did not experience any nausea with this one. It all feels solid, of excellent quality, and well made. My only real gripe would be the cord, makes things a bit awkward at times, really wish they would have made it wireless.
The Horizon VR game it came with is really fun too! Really enjoyed pulling arrows out of the quiver and firing them. Climbing is fun as well and the world is beautiful. Honestly enjoy sitting in places enjoying the sounds and scenery, so it’s good for that too. Overall it’s fantastic and well worth the money.

"The PS VR2 is an incredible leap in virtual reality! The visuals are stunning, the headset is comfortable, and the haptic feedback adds an extra layer of immersion. The eye tracking and adaptive triggers make a real difference in gameplay. While the cable can be a minor inconvenience, the overall experience is top-notch. If you’re into VR, this is a must-have for PlayStation fans!"

Excellent piece of technology. The headset itself is quite comfortable, and is easy to adjust. The controllers feel great, and even though it's plastic, they still have this premium look/feel to them. Of course, the headset needs to be connected to the PS5, but there's enough wire length where you don't have to worry about the possibility of yanking the console or the wire out from tripping or moving around. The actual VR experience is great, just keep in mind that you'll need quite a lot of space to allow the PSVR2 to play some certain games.

Great addition to my PS5 Pro doubles as a TV if you don’t have one. You can stream media & play non VR games on what feels like a massive movie theater screen. The included earbuds with 3D Spatial Audio is surprisingly good from sound stage to sound quality. For those of you who wear glasses no need to worry you can still use the headset however I’d recommend investing in prescription lens covers that allow for a more comfortable experience with less adjustments. The headset feels comfortable for me for about 3-4 hours of play time however they do sell improved padding & a head strap to increase play time before fatigue sets in. Overall it’s a great device & I’ve really enjoyed owning it especially being able to play games like RE8 in a whole new and more engaging way; I’ve also enjoyed watching content like Crunchyroll more than I did on my TV. The BestBuy I went to in Aventura was friendly & courteous, I was in & out pretty quick too. If you’re into buying your tech & appliances at BestBuy even if you don’t qualify for their credit card definitely look into their membership options for special offers & protections they also have a current promotion of money back on purchases for premium members.

The PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle is easily one of the most impressive gaming experiences I’ve had. The visuals are stunning — the OLED display is incredibly sharp and vibrant, and the sense of depth and scale is unreal. It truly feels like stepping into another world.
The Sense controllers are a standout. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers make everything feel immersive, especially climbing and using the bow in Horizon. Setup was straightforward, and the headset is comfortable enough for longer sessions without feeling heavy or awkward.
Horizon Call of the Mountain is a fantastic showcase game. Even if you’re new to VR, it does a great job easing you in while still delivering jaw-dropping moments. The attention to detail and immersion really show what the PS5 and VR2 are capable of.
The only downside is that it’s wired and the VR game library is still growing, but the quality of the experience more than makes up for it.
Overall, if you own a PS5 and are even slightly interested in VR, this bundle is absolutely worth it. Premium experience, premium feel, and a great introduction to next-gen VR.

It took me some time to decide on which VR system to choose from. I ultimately decided on the PSVR2 mainly for the power of the PS5. As more and more games come out I think it will play and look better and have an overall better experience than other VRs.
As for the PSVR2 itself it is comfortable, fun, and very immersive. I recommend some kind of grips to add to the hand controls if you get sweaty palms like I do.
The headset being corded doesn't bother me too much. Every now and then I need to adjust it but I'm fine with that,
Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and can't wait for more games.

VR is absolutely exciting and this device is just great to get started with VR games. However I suffer a lot from the motion sickness, especially if I want to play games which requires you to play them while standing.

This product is awesome…but one major note is being able to handle the idea of moving when you’re stationary. With the headset on if you do not do well with motion, you will not do well with the VR. You are completely immersed into the world of the game that you’re playing and while sitting down and then running forward…the motion is on another level. It took me a few days to get used to. Once I got used to it, I love the gaming experience, but I can still get dizzy every now and again due to my mind thinking I’m actually running, but my body is stationary. Also, It would be nice if the headset was wireless and didn’t require a direct connection to the console, but the price would be much higher than it already is. If you’re okay with both of those you’ll love the PS5 VR. The graphics are awesome!

The PSVR 2 is simply one of the greatest VR systems out in the market right now. First, setup is extremely easy. It is just plug and play. Hook up into any of the USB ports in your PS5, follow the prompts on screen to update your new VR and you are ready to go within minutes! Of course, the first game I played was Horizon: Call of the Mountain. Within the first ffew minutes, I was blown away by the full immersion the PSVR2 provides. The ability to display 4K at up to 120hz easily shown within minutes of playing Horizon. The physical design of the headset surely took a lot of research and development by Sony as their are several different adjustments you can use to fit everyones face/head. I even tried while using glasses and the new design of the VR helped make wearing glasses no issue at all! The enviroment scanning and play area features are very good as well at helping give you a safer experience, regardless if you decided to play sitting or standing. With more VR games being announced at the Playstation showcase, I am beyond excited to see what else is in store for the PSVR2. If you have a PS5, the PSVR2 adds an experience unlike anything else.

I try this for 30 minutes at my brother's house before I went the next day to buy my own. By far the best thing is that I am able to wear my glasses inside of the VR headset. It is incredibly comfortable and I have really large glasses for my oversized head...Lol. It was a big investment but I have no regrets. It feels like the future. I was tired of playing games and getting distracted because of everything else going on around including my phone going off. Being completely immersed in the environment, i finally enjoy the game. I've played resident evil village, which is just phenomenal, and horizons. I can only imagine they're going to do better things with VR in the future, but this is providing me a lot of benefits so far.
