The PSVR2 definitely lives up to all the hype and has so many features that set it aside from other headsets! The vibration and eye tracking is amazing, and it is very comfortable to wear. A little on the expensive side, but totally worth committing to VR with PlayStation!

Its great, but it is pricey and the amount of game may not make it worth it. I really do like it, but the amount of game out there, and the fact that it is not backwards compatible to PSVR1, then I would say hold off, or go for the Meta3.

Upon putting and turning on the headset for the first time, the higher quality OLED screen immediately stands out however the selection of VR games is disappointing. You can play non-VR titles using the headset as a giant display which is a plus. The headset apparently doesn't support spatial/360 videos ("apparently" because I didn't try). I found it to be clunky, uncomfortable to wear, the tethered cord is a safety concern and detracts from the immersion. Sony is my favorite brand for electronics, and Playstation has always been my go-to gaming brand, but this product is a miss. I did end up returning it and getting a Meta Quest 3.

The game was exhilarating. I had so much fun. The graphics were amazing. It took a little bit getting used to, as I never played this type of game before although I have paid many other VR games. But in all it was great.

I know it's primarily the responsibility of the developer of the software, not the hardware, to make movement smooth. And for games that don't involve movement at all, PSVR 2 is a compelling experience for PS5 users looking for an immersive experience that can't be had on a traditional flat screen. However, due to a lack of sedintary games, i personally had a nauseating experience. My game of choice on the platform was Horizon: Call of the Mountain and the walking required, although only occasional, jad me wanting to tear the headset off and rush to the bathroom nearly every time. If you can find a game where movement is less disorienting or the perspective is more separated, then PSVR 2's haptic feedback, eye-tracking, and high resolution OLED screens make for the best experience you can ask for. IF you can find and enjoy those games.

I finally decided to get into the world of VR and it's amazing! The lenses Sony uses are a bit strange, but after getting them adjusted properly they do an amazing job. Horizon looks almost too good to be real. After getting everything figured out I can honestly say that the PS VR2 purchase was worth every penny!

    Review of the PSVR 2

The headset of the PSVR2 is more comfortable than its VR counterparts due to the PS5 holding the computing power allowing the headset to focus on vision. For those suffering from arthritis or poor grip, the controllers can be painful due to the position of the trigger buttons. Due to the Fresnel lens choice, the headset has to be positioned properly to have maximum visual clarity, which compared to its counterparts is at most decent. Even then, the edges of any images are blurry / fuzzy. The use of OLEDS give the visuals more brightness however and makes the color vibrant. The catalogue of PSVR2 games is still limited, s
