Not worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Trash returned it after the first day of having it I have no idea what PlayStation was thinking, but it is absolutely horrible. You have to have it plugged into the PlayStation at all times. What is the fun in that. very hard to use and they give you very cheap headphones, come on PlayStation get your **** together.

Poor execution
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. How do people see all of these things? Purchase multiple units and they all have the same defect like you’re looking through pantyhose they suck. Also, there’s no games available at all.

Best Mainstream VR just off these 3 reasons✅
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1. Enhanced Visuals: Newer VR headsets often feature improved display technology, providing higher resolutions and reduced screen door effect for a more immersive experience. 2. Better Tracking: Enhanced tracking capabilities for both head movement and controller tracking to provide a more accurate and responsive VR experience. 3. Comfort and Ergonomics: Improved comfort through ergonomic design, adjustable headbands, and lightweight materials to make wearing the headset for extended periods more comfortable. 4. Audio Quality: Enhanced audio systems for 3D spatial audio, making in-game sounds more immersive and realistic. 5. Backward Compatibility: Compatibility with previous PlayStation VR titles or a library of new VR games and experiences. 6. New Controller Design: Upgraded VR controllers with improved functionality, tracking, and haptic feedback for a more immersive experience.

It wont disappoint.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing graphics upgrade from last gen. Lightweight comfort. Tracking is amazing. The haptics on the headset and controllers bring a whole new sense of immersion. And again...the graphics. In games like GT7, you feel as if you are there. I was never a racing game fan, but now I am hooked.

High End VR for a reasonable Price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.irst and foremost, PSVR2 is better than PSVR1 in every single way. The graphics are far better, the tracking is far more accurate, no need for an external camera set up, and no confusing mess of cords. The entire headset is powered and hooked up through a single USB-C cord, to the front of a PlayStation 5. You can turn around! The cameras are built into the front of the headset, so you can quickly turn around and you won't lose tracking. Analog sticks on both controllers gives developers so many more options. The sense controllers coming in the box means no more lack of uniformity between games. You either use the PS5 Sense controller, or the PSVR2 Sense Controllers. That's it. No more schlocky games with odd control schemes. The new controllers are a game changer. Adaptive triggers add a whole new level of satisfaction. Pulling a trigger is so satisfying. The headset can rumble, like when you hit a wall in Gran Turismo 7 at 120 miles per hour, or when you get punched in Creed. Eye tracking is not a gimmick. On top of foveated rendering, where graphical improvement is made where you are looking in game, but it can also have surprising effect, like when you play PokerStars VR and can watch your opponent glance at their cards. As someone who migrated from PlayStation VR1, the difference is incredible. No more worrying about the perfect lighting, or reflective clothing, the positioning of my external camera when sitting or standing. The games possible on PSVR2 are insane. Gran Turismo 7 is amazing, Resident Evil 8 is impressive, and Horizon Call of the Mountain is beautiful. The same games that were available on PSVR1, such as After the Fall, are made much better on PSVR2, with improved graphics, haptic feedback from the headset, adaptive triggers, and analog sticks on each controller. Yes, you have a single cord running from the headset, but you can run it up a pulley system if it bothers you. A friend of mine has a Quest 2 and rarely gets to play. As a result, whenever he does, his headset is never charged enough. I'll take a corded headset with improved graphics over a wireless one. Once you get past motion sickness if you are new to Virtual Reality gaming, this will change the way you think of gaming.

Not overhyped (first vr headset)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review should cover most of others complaints about it. Although the "sweet spot" is small it eventually gets easy to adjust, it took me 5-10 seconds today, i've had it for a few days. There is a learning curve to vr especially motion sickness. My brain is slowly accepting conflicting senses and getting its "vr legs" i'm getting less and less motion sick. Don't put it off just because the graphics in a specific game are bad, try for example red matter 2 because there is a very huge difference in quality (including blurriness) between vr games. Glasses may or may not improve image quality depending on severity and there are already inserts on the market. 2d videos of vr don't do it justice. The depth and reflections along with the ray tracing (in good games) really fool your brain into thinking it's real. My only complaint is the headset being corded but that is fine because the ps5 is doing the data processing. I would assume having it all in headset would make it bulky and would make it get extra hot.

Too much hype
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive owned the Oculus Rift S, the Quest 2 and this, the PSVR2. This is the most limited and worse looking one by far. Graphics dont look anywhere near 4k. Not even 1080p, probably more like 720p. Slightly muddy and with a pronounced mura effect. Search reddit, there are a lot of people also complaining of the mura effect. My Quest 2 looks amazing, crystal clear, bright and vibrant. I thought the PSVR2 would look even better, but its actually a lot worse. I also dont find it particularly comfy to wear. Also, PSVR games are not compatible with PSVR2, which make this headset extremely limited. The only thing saving this headset is the ease of use. Fire up GT7 and Im inside the car driving in less than 3 minutes. From my experience, no VR headset on PC is this easy to use. The set up is also the cheapest for triple A VR gaming with the PS5 and PSVR2 around $1050 altogether. That is maybe half of a PC and PCVR headset, althought there are WAY more games for PCVR. Overall, Im going to keep it because of GT7. But it was a big letdown. The specsheet is impressive, but the end result is not. This is not a good deal, and most people should not buy it on the sole promise of decent games to come. Unless all you care is GT7, then buy it and keep your expectations low.

Great Product, Poor Delivery
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is great, but major headaches in getting the product delivered left a very sour taste in my mouth. BB needs to remember that the experience of getting the product delivered is as important as the product itself.
