A worthy improvement over the XM4s!

Off the bat, the comfort of these are noticeable. They are lighter and fit better within your ear. Then the sound. I still have my XM4s, so I've switched between these XM5s and XM4s mid track and there is a noticeable difference in sound quality. The ANC is much improved as well. I haven't taken them on a plane ride yet, but using them around the office and around my home, I can tell you that they have also improved upon their ANC technology. I use them with an Android phone for LDAC, but also have an iPad, and these seamlessly work with both for multipoint connection. Plus there are a bunch of new features that these have, that XM4s do not, mainly it the touch controls. These are feature rich and are more refined. I was hesitant to purchase these, as my XM4s worked perfectly fine. They were relatively new as well, since I had a bad pair of XM4s with defective batteries. Thankfully Sony had replaced the XM4s with a brand new pair last year, even though the warranty expired. If anything that motivated me more to upgrade since Sony righted their wrong and stood behind their product. That's excellent customer service. So if your questioning upgrading to these, from XM4s, I am confident that you will not regret it!

No issues with sound for either music or podcasts to this point. Having the different tip sizes is nice too.

What i also like about these are the controls so you can turn volume up and down, skip a track or rewind, answer or decline a call. So it gives you a hands free and wireless experience with great battery life and sound quality

I'm a huge Samsung fan and have had galaxy buds for the past 10 years and have never had a pair of buds that had such good call quality. the only con that I have for them is that they don't have an ambient sound booster, but besides that, id pick these all day.

The battery lasts a long time, the sound clarity is awesome, they fit nice in my ears, and they connect to my phone extremely quickly. I dotn have any negative thoughts on these earbuds.

Easily better quality than Apple airpods or Samsung buds. And it works amazingly with both ecosystems. I ended up getting this to try it out, and ended up keeping it. I own both Samsung Bud's Pro 2, and Powerbeats Pro. Be easily beat them in sound quality, which I should expect for it a bit higher price tag. They claim you can get an hour charge in just 3 minutes, and I would say that's pretty darn accurate. Took these on a 13 hour flight to japan, and only had to really take one earbud and plug it in and use the other one while it was charging after 9 hours. And I would just swap between the two after that until they got mostly a full charge. Never really have to worry about battery life when it comes to these ear buds.

Great sound

The different size buds are good but sometimes cause interference when useing them. Its a static type of sound when chewing or working that happens if the wrong size is on. Which can be annoying. Never had that issue with the beats. But over all sound quality is great.

If the sound is distorted or you hear noise, place the headphones in the charging case, close the lid, wait for about 10 seconds, and then wear them again. Also, try restarting the connected device. Ensure that the earbud tips are firmly and completely attached to the earbuds. Use the Sony | Headphones Connect app to measure the air-tightness of the earbud tips and find the optimal size for your ears. If the issue persists, initialize the unit by following this link:

Comfortable, reliable, good

They're easy to care, work wonderfully, and have surprisingly good audio quality. I can keep them in for long stretches of time without having them feel uncomfortable.

After using these for a month or so i still am amazed by the effectiveness of the active noise cancellation. Sound quality is incredible, bass is there, mids are there and highs are there. These are very impressive earbuds.

Amazing For In-The-Ear Headphones

The price and quality is pretty outstanding, long battery life, great quality in sound/tone range, and comfortability once you find the right size ear piece. I would still buy over any other ear buds in the market

The fit of the buds does matter, but once it fits, it works great!! The buds are smaller than I expected but that works for my small ears. The touch capabilities arent as customizable as I would like but thats a minor detail.
