We also appreciate you bringing the issue with the right earbud intermittently going blank to our attention. That is certainly not the seamless experience we intend, and having to re-insert it into the charger is frustrating. Dont get me wrong i love their tech.but almost loosing one earbud is not a good option. After carefully researching adjustable buds, sony leaded the pack not only as a better rated ear bud but had multi adjustable earpieces to fit just about anyone ears. BB staff shine again with great support. V/R, Ken H.

Great Sound Quality for NC In-Ear

I tweaked the EQ easily in the app, and the performance is incredible. Highly reccomend as they offer phenomenal noise cancelling and sound quality - better sound quality than the Bose equivalent in my opinion.

Left earbud won’t pause when using one earbud

However where I work I can only use one earbud at a time in case someone needs to talk to me. Instead of using just the right all the time I would use the left but you cannot pause what you are listening with the left earbud and would still play even when you remove it from the ear. I can’t use something if I cant pause what I am listening

You're right, the left earbud on its own can't pause playback. The pause function and the automatic in-ear detection are both tied to the right earbud. So when you take out the left earbud, the audio continues to play, which we know isn't ideal for your situation.

microphone problems

I recently had to reset the earbuds and remove all bluetooth devices from my phone and reconnect the earbuds for the mic to work. sound quality is good. the foam tips are nice. with the bugs these have i dont think it’s worth the price point at all. Much cheaper earbuds work better out the box than these.

Amazing Quality Earbuds, Fitment was not for me

These earbuds are amazing. The quality and features alone stand out among competitors. However, I did have issues with fitment. I tried all of the provided ear tips but the never fit well enough and this is a larger issue for me cause I wanted to use them while working out with as well. I am not a fan of the memory foam type ear tips so I did return them and tried out the Bose which had better fitment but did notice that the Sony buds had better sound quality and loudness.

It's unfortunate that you were not satisfied with its fit and design. For optimum fit and comfort, it is recommended to wear the headphones properly. When changing the earbud tips, try the earbud tip sizes in order from the larger ones to the smaller ones. The most suitable size of the earbud tips for left and right ears may be different. The “Sony | Headphones Connect” app also helps you determine which earbud tips suit you best to achieve the optimal noise canceling effect, sound quality, etc.
