Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the noise isolation sony is my favorite gym headphones easy to use fast charging each full charging last me almost 15 gym training days i will definitely recommend anyone to get sony headphones my number one that i ever used im usually have play with the addressing training.And this headphones doesn't move or drop off my ears exlent perfect and the sound is amazing definitely better than outher brands i hade multiple brands spend lots of money but finally i find my gym partner sony headphones this is my 3rd pair that i bought for my son and my wife .

Over all sound and comfortability

The way it fits is really good doesn't fall out the ANC is super good, and it doesn't make your ear super itchy after a while.

Perfect earbuds!

What a huge difference! Sound quality is way better. They fit my ears better and are more comfortable. Great battery life. They also have a lot more sound customization than are offered on the Airpods. Highly recommend.

I could not get a good seal for best sound and noise cancelation. The 1000XM5's fit better and sound better. I liked some of the features of the Samsung 3Pro like voice commands to like, volume up/down, next song, etc. This is the 2nd pair of 1000XM5's I've owned The last pair was stolen. The XM5's though have a great fit with multiple tips, sounds great (even though.im mostly def in one ear) I can still register LOW low bass. So they still sound great.

Good but not for me.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an iPhone 14 Pro with Airpods Pro 2nd gen and an Google Pixel 9 Pro XL with the Sony XM5 earbuds. The Sony XM5 are really good in sound quality and with the EQ you can make the your own. Great bass, good mid-range and great highs. All I'm missing is volume, I use them for work in a really noise environment and they couldn't keep up. Noise cancelling is good but I still prefer my Airpods Pro 2nd gen. Were the Sony XM5 disappointed me was on the transparency mode, I was expecting the same clarity and openness of the Airpods Pro but that never happened. Sony XM5 earbuds are great in sound, comfort, Noise cancelling and lots of features on the app.

The soft foam is better for comfort but harder to clean than the silicone ones. The actual battery life is approximately 6 hours. They have great sound quality and the app is pretty slick.

They also dont slip out of my ears and they have a really good battery life!

These earphones have amazing battery noise canceling is good. And i like how when you start talking it pauses the video your watching. plus ambient mode can be set to when you are running or sitting or walking. That way you can set how much ambient sound comes in when you run or sit or walk. Also it can be set to a location. So when you go to the gym is sets how much noise comes in. You can also have it where it connects to two different devices from different brands. Its a must if you have different ecosystems.

It should be noted that the smaller size of the buds makes them more comfortable and reduces fatigue over a long period of time. The noise cancellation is very good since you cannot hear anything from the outside and one point to emphasize is that they can be modified. in the sony app is very good as one can modify the equalizer of the headphones if they want more bass or more treble The Sony, the WF1000XM5, are the latest version of Sony's high-end wireless headphone offerings and claim to offer a Great sound, a long-lasting battery, and a sophisticated noise cancellation system that other brands can't touch.

As a person who has owned many high-end brands concerning noise-canceling headsets, this one exceeds my expectations. As you receive the earbuds, the packaging is actually very simple with it being light beige and made of cardstock. Inside, there is the case which has a matte finish but the earbuds themselves have a glossy touch to it. I love how there is a slight difference in both the case and the product. It also includes the cable, but not the power charging block considering the price, you would expect there to be one at least. Lastly, there are the diverse options in foam sleeves that range from large to extra small, allowing you to find the most fitting to the ear. The sound quality of this product is amazing, smooth,and crisp!! Even at its highest setting of volume, it does not feel uncomfortable whatsoever. The app, Sony Headphone Connect is convenient to users as it allows for you to customize the sound of the earbuds using the equalizer. This helps you find the best sound quality only personal to you. The app also allows you to track down the status of the battery. In addition, there is the option choose between noise cancelling and ambient sound or off. Overall the Sony Earbuds are of great quality and worth that pretty penny. A problem for me is that the foam sleeves are not useful at all as I continue to struggle with adjusting the earbuds every now and then, especially when moving around.

Favorite ones yet, but preferred the design on the x4. These are light and i use them in the welding shop daily. Blocks almost all sounds around me when I'm not talking. Getting another pair tomorrow.

I travel a lot. They're small so they don't take up any space in the backpack. I do recommend getting aftermarket rubber pieces. I found some nice soft ones on Amazon. These buds have really good nose canceling. They're not over-the-ear good, but close. The sound is clean and crisp. Music sounds great. I use these for phone calls all the time and have had zero issues. Battery lasts a decent while, and the case recharges quickly. If you like earbuds, you will not be disappointed with these.

Good, but not quite worth the premium

However, the noise cancelling just doesn’t compare to my Bose QC Earbuds, which are cheaper at $199.99 versus these at $329.99. For the price, I expected better ANC performance, but overall they’re still comfortable and sound great.

Sound, connection reliability, fit and style all excellent. Ear buds hold tight on her frequent walks. Ease of use comes with slight learning curve. Advanced features may suit more tech savy users. I use the Samsung Buds pro 2 and the Sonys are a little bit better with the noise canceling. These are paired with a Motorola phone and perform appropriately. Consumer reports was a reliable reference for this model.

By far the best I’ve ever tried in terms of sound quality, ANC, comfort, and battery life. The foam ear tips are great and fit in really well inside of my ears, giving me a tight seal that isolates me from outside noises. The sound quality is one of the greatest I’ve ever heard on any flagship earbuds from other companies. Don’t even get me started on it’s features. The Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds have this cool new feature called speak-to-chat which automatically pauses anything you’re listening to when you speak. This is one of the many features these earbuds have. In conclusion, the Sony WF-1000XM5, with it’s features and sound, make a great pick for people looking for their everyday pair of earbuds!
