The noise cancellation is good, but cannot compare to my Apple AirPods Max over the ear headphones, but I think that is just the nature of the way each of them works. My only negative with these Sonys is that mine are sometimes slow to pair with my iPad Pro and Dell Laptop. But they do eventually get there, and when they finally pair, I find them very enjoyable to listen to and firmly stable in my ear.

I would return but 3 days late -_-

That's definitely not the experience we want for our customers. We also appreciate you letting us know about the issue with them falling out of the case.
For the connection issues and notification problems, we have a few recommendations that might help:
1. Try turning Bluetooth off on your phone and then back on. You can also try "forgetting" the WF-1000XM5 in your phone's Bluetooth settings, then re-pairing them.
2. Make sure your earbuds have the latest software. You can do this through the Sony | Sound Connect app.

Seeking a price match, I contacted Best Buy's customer service via chat. The customer service was gracious and pleasant and promptly validated my claim and offered me the product at the same price. After picking up my product and opening to use it, I was horrified to see a used Sony wf-1000xm4 earbuds (along with earwax) in the case. This was a first for me, and understandably, I felt nervous. However, I promptly returned to the store and explained the situation to customer care, who agreed to resolve the matter without any hesitation. I received a replacement product, no questions asked. Having now used the product, I can confidently say that it is worth the price. If you're a music enthusiast, you're in for a treat because the sound quality of these earphones is exceptional. You can hear instruments in a song which you neve heard before! While I would have given a five-star rating, the misadventure and anxiety caused by this purchase deducts a star. Nonetheless, the excellent customer service and the quality of the product ultimately make it a worthwhile investment. I would highly recommend that you open and check the product to save yourself some hassle of running to the store, unless you thrive you anxiety.

Best Buds on the Market!

The sound is well-balanced, with solid, tight bass. The noise-canceling is second to none! I alternate between these and my AirPod Pro 3, but find myself coming back to the Sony's more often than not.

The transparency, noise cancellation, long wear comfort both exercising and sedentary, and even the sound stage are not as good to me as my airpod pro 2 gen earbuds. But, OMG these are for the music and WOW do they ever deliver! I have SONY IEMs and headphones and these deliver a PURE ROBUST MUSIC experience with a decent DAC and LDAC transmitter. They are very good via AAC and SBC, but once you hear what they can be it is really hard to settle for what lower quality BT forces them to be.

Noise cancellation is not good!

The sound quality is very good, however, I do not find the noise canceling to be good at all. I’ve tried all the different sized ear pieces and nothing seems to help. When in a meeting it almost seems to amplify outside noises more than quiet them. Other than the noise canceling issues these have been very good.

Both the noise canceling and the aware mode are extremely effective. The only thing I will complain about is the app is a little annoying and the touch features aren't as versatile as the Apple AirPods as you can only assign certain features on each earbud.

These are an expensive set of earbuds but figured you get what you paiy for and the reviews bosted great quality. As the reviews state, you do need to figure out which earpads fit the best. For me, the ones attached were too big for my ears, but it does come with 3 other pads for easy adjustments. This device paired easily with my Android Samsung S20 phone, and as well as my Lenovo Carbon X1 and my Dell laptop. The noise reduction could be a little better, however, still playing with the fit in my ear, and that can contribute to that. The battery does last a long time. I was able to take 4 train trips, 3 hours long each, and taking phone calls and MS Teams meeting, and had not charged the set for a week and a half before plugging them in. As for the soind quality, I am on the fence. The sound works best when listening to NetFlix movies, and when listening to music on Spotify, the sound doesnt appear as good, but could be the playlists I have choosen. Telephone calls are clear and the person on the end staes they can hear me loud and clear ( except for spotty reception areas. Would I buy these again, yes,!! I have only had them maybe 3 weeks, and clearly need to read the manual to figure out all the functions this device can offer.

I have had issues with other earphones in the past with phone call cutting in and out but these are a amazing they have really improved them. They only struggle to connect to some device but I think that may be a bug.
