Good upgrade from XM4

I use my XM4s a lot, waited a long time since other reviews said they were the same but worth a shot if you get them on sale. I barely notice they are in and they still have a solid seal. TBD on battery life.

I'm hard to please but these are impressive!

Both have fantastic noise cancellation but lack multi-point connect to any 2 devices. I purchased these xm5s so that I can connect to my iphone and work pc. I was afraid the ANC wouldn't meet my standards but wow! I think the ANC on these may be the best I've experienced yet. The key is to get a good fit by choosing the right tips. They are very comfortable, stellar sound and setup was easier than I thought it would be. I still have to test out the call quality but so far - I'm very happy with these earbuds.

The battery life is incredible, call quality is great, sound quality is awesome and tweaking the equalizer on the app really helps with bass. Overall I'm very impressed. Time will tell how long they hold up, as they get daily, all day use.

Beyond Impressed!!

The fitment options are incredible and i love the soft foam. Silicone earbuds usually fall out but these stay firmly in place, long enough to be forgotten about! The noise cancelling feature works so well and the audio quality is second to none. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a new set of buds!

THE CASE IS CHARGING, BUT IT WON'T UPDATE THE %
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only had these for a few hours, but wanted to write a review because my experience has been great compared to pixel buds pro & Beats studio +. I also came from airpods pro 2nd generation- and in comparison they are about the same. It does take some getting used to, the app isn't the most user friendly either. There is just a lot going on, because they have a lot to offer so its not a bad thing- just, again, takes some getting used to. I also wanted to mention, because I almost returned them thinking they were defective, that when you are charging the case without the buds in them- the app will only show the percentage they were on the last time the buds were in them. I thought the case was not holding a charge, but when i put the buds back in the case - it updated it and showed they were charged at 100% (oops, lol). I'll update this after some time passes though, because for this much money- I would have loved to see more detailed reviews. They all seem to have different results.

Incredible battery, sound, and noise cancellation

They are comparable to my wh xm4s (the headphones). I'd say they have less bass but still are in the same league. Ever since I've gotten these, I've used my headphones less just for the incredible comfort. I've never had battery problems (especially with how convenient it is to wirelessly charge them) and I've dropped them on concrete before with no issues.

A welcomed upgrade

The dual connection works almost seamlessly between my S23 Ultra and Tab s8 Ultra. The smaller size sits more comfortable in my ears which has been a pain point for me from the weight of the XM4s. These XM5s have great sound quality, really cool features with Google Assistant as well as nodding your head to answer calls, or shaking your head to decline calls. Don't let the glossy plastic finish fool you, these aren't cheap at all. I've been on the hunt for a good set of daily drivers and I have finally found it.

Excellent for working outside

I use them to cut the grass with a large loud lawn tractor and it protects my hearing perfectly. The sound is premium and the lows are just heavy and punchy enough without sounding muddy or overpowering. You do get what you pay for, so they are above average in price.

Poor Multipoint techonology.

It has multiple issues being connected to my laptop and my cell phone, does not easily transition between them and get's stuck on one device when it shouldn't.

Very Good Sounding Earbuds

If you’re a basshead defintely consider these earbuds, the only area they fall behind in is noise cancellation, its not the best but not bad either. Overall very solid pair of earbuds so far.

It's so great, but a few things hold it back

First, the ear tips. NICE IDEA! It's a silicone foam hybrid. However, they tear easily. the outer layers come off. They are impossible to clean. If you use any alcohol at all or any type of cleaning solution, it eats away at the product. That makes them disposable, unless you don't clean your ear tips. Silicone is the only option, so you have to go after market. Then, good luck getting a good clean fit with aftermarket ear buds. I can't find anything that works perfectly. Once you get a good fit from shoving them in your ear as far as you can, the noise canceling is phenomal, but dies out with any gym movement. Great noise cancelation technology is defeated by a poor fit. Next, connection issues. Using these with my phone at the gym, the right ear regularly loses connection for a short section. Nothing bad, but enough to miss a note in a song. Enough to be annoying. It reconnects in less than a second, but it is frustrating. The phone connection is great, it's a newer model android with the most recent update. The bluetooth has no other issues with any other external speakers, so it's just these. the phone is on the elliptical machine right in front of my face or it is in my pocket as i'm lifting weights. It's constantly the right ear. These sound fantastic and have great noise canceling and may work perfectly with different ear shapes. If you cant put up with the deteriorating ear tips or find a good after market. The dropping connection 20 times in an hour is awful.

Excellent earbuds, though pricey

Both bass and treble come through more clearly than on my Samsung Buds and voices are even more clear. They also pair very easily with my other devices and can connect to 2 devices at the same time. On the whole, I am very satisfied with them, though they were a bit expensive.

These bring the whole package in terms of astonishing sound quality and clear, crisp instrumentals along with a tight base. The ANC quality is fantastic, leaving nothing between you and your music experience. I constantly find myself reaching for these in excitement when I want a concert like experience at any random moment, coffee shops, my workplace, even at home before going to bed. They are that good..

So far love them! Great sound, noise cancelling is great, and they don't fall out. Really like being able to connect to two devices at the same time. Full disclosure, the first pair I opened had some sort of software bug with the audio passthrough but Best Buy swapped them out.
