Usa for africa "We are the world" comparison is 5x better clarity _____ touch Controls are too sensitive/responsive. FAST/quick reaction times _____ i dislike finish, prefer a matte finish, gloss makes it look cheaper. Also more slippery due to smaller size profile with glossiness .i foresee many people misplacing pieces (be wary not to lose)

I tried to go for the Google Pixel Buds Pro, but they didn't compare. The noise canceling, sound quality, and comfort are superior. In my opinion, there is not much difference in the upgrade as far as sound, but the comfort is a big plus.

10/10 but wait for a sale

These are the absolute best sound quality you can get from wireless earbuds. The noise cancelation is also the best it has ever been. If you dont have the xm4 earbuds then get these. If you already have the xm4 earbuds and have no issues with them, these are not worth the upgrade.

I got this pair since one side of my old xm4s stopped working, wouldn't say that it's worth upgrading if you have a working pair of xm4s but if you're actively looking for a new pair these are solid.

I misplcaed my last pair and had yo rebuy the in earphones. The only issue is that the ear tips are the most secure. I constantly worry abotj them falling out durinh a flight and loosing it

Even comparing them to some of my wired IEMs, these have great bass response and crystal clear highs, I don't find myself looking for more of either with these. Definitely worth the money if you listen to HiFi music but don't want a wired connection!

Buy some spinfit omni earbuds ends and you are set.

Overpriced, exaggerated performance.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: - Excellent sound quality, fairly customizable via an app. - No "pumping" effect when used for exercising/jogging. Cons: - Frequent stuttering. I've owned many pairs of less expensive wireless earbuds which didn't have this problem. I generally stream from an iPhone 15 and iPad. - Occasional complete audio quality downgrade. You'll notice everything sounds "pixel-y" all of the sudden and you'll have to put the headphones back in the case to reset them before the problem will resolve itself. - The capabilities of the ANC for these headphones is wildly exaggerated as 99% of the noise cancellation is passive. Whether the "ANC" has any affect at all will be largely dependent on the anatomy of your ear and how forcefully/deep your willing to insert the earbud. ANC is either on or off. You have no control over the strength of the ANC. - Connecting to two devices at once is a non-starter. The headphones will constantly send a "pause" request to one of the devices causing your media to stop every few seconds. The only solution is to disable connections to two devices at once. - Just poor user ergonomics in general - things like having to put the headphones back in the case to sync them to a new device. The "touch" controls on the earbuds are frustrating to use and the audio feedback effect for a tap is impossible to hear over music, so you end up unsure whether your tap was registered or not - This is potentially subjective, but the foam earbuds (no rubber/silicon earbuds are provided) are not high quality and will not stay in your ear. - Overpriced, considering the factors above. Consider other brands - my recommendation would be to try Jabra.

Sound profile and ANC is great, as to be expected by Sony. Software and controls are not great and could use a LOT of refinement. Volume / Playback / ANC controls on the buds is clunky at best. 4+ taps to turn the volume up or down is REALLY a pain and only works sometimes. They do not connect automatically to the 2 paired devices. No ability to change what each tap does on the ear bud is an oversight in my opinion. I have had a number of times where they just disconnect, and I have to pair them again. Lag time between a tap on the bud is noticeable. For a 300 dollar flagship product, I expected a more polished user interface and a more stable experience. If it was not for the sound quality and ANC I would return and go back to my Pixel Buds Pro.

Great and Stylish Earbuds

For example, when someone is speaking to you it is not as clear as when you are not using the earbuds. And when speaking into the earbuds to negate typing text, it sometimes does reflect the expected words well. But an overall great experience and in my opinion, very stylish compared to Apple Earbuds and all other available offerings.

I use Windows and Android devices. The MX4's had two issues on a daily basis, but were otherwise top tier. The touch points were inconsistent and they were too big for my right ear. I got used to these issues and they remain the best of the best. However, MX5's have solved these issues. Sound quality on the MX4's were great, but these are even better. This is what I wanted.

The ambient mode allows you to still hear the music and be aware of your surroundings. Awesome set of earbuds

Sound quality is impeccable and they have a very snug fit with the different sizes for the ear plugs they have. Only issue i had was the case comes open a little to easily and ended up losing one of my headphones
