Excellent quality and you can charge the earbuds in the case, u get a bit longer use on the go with no power source I also like the fit of the foam tips it has from ssmall to large you'll find your size, they won't easily fall out.

The only complaint is I wish that they could get louder in volume because I like my music at a loud volume but otherwise they have served good so far.

You can nod or shake your head to answer or not answer calls. Battery life is great, fast charging. Sound is remarkable for the size. Full EQ with the Sony app. Multipoint works perfectly. The touch controls kind of suck using volume but it is manageable

Amazing sound but weird fit

Amazing sound, audio cuts out a lot

The big problem with these are that they cut out badly, if I move around with them in my ears they start cutting ou sometimes losing audio for a few seconds at a time. This issue happens when they're connected to my apple watch, apple tv, MacBook and iphone. I go for a walk or really exercise with these because they cut out so badly. I understand that I can't adjust the ldac with iphone but this is ruining my experience with these. I also have it set to prioritize Bluetooth connection over sound quality on the app.

Amazing pair but I miss my air pod pros

Best noise Canceling even on a plane... you cant go wrong with these but i will say the gesture control/touch controls arent great. Managable but very difficult to adjust volume from the buds. Not sure if it like that with most earbuds out there or what. I was an apple user for a long time then switched to the fold 7. Maybe im spoiled by apples air pod pros. I will say that its kimda shocking how long apple airpods have been out but yet its still very difficult to find something very close.... galaxy buds dont count in my eyes because the quality of sound and features are no where close. Overall before I turn the review into something else. Very solid pair of earbuds. Probably number 1 option when it comes to ANDRIOD users... wish the touch controls where abit better... especially with volume adjustment. Also if you get this on sale... easily one of the best buys(see what I did there) you can get

I’ve had every gen and the pros as well. I made the switch to Sony very reluctantly but my little brother recommended them after I lost my AirPods. So I gave them a chance and WOW! They are truly amazing headphones. The ANC and Passthrough is phenomenal. Along with the customs sound profile they create for spatial and surround sounds I crazy. These will easily blow every other in ear headphones out of the water!! I will never be going back to apple for headphones. 10/10! Treat yourself and get these headphones. Your ears will thank you! It’s truly like youre hearing everything for the first time again. The rich quality and deep base is insane!

A worthy improvement over the XM4s!

Off the bat, the comfort of these are noticeable. They are lighter and fit better within your ear. Then the sound. I still have my XM4s, so I've switched between these XM5s and XM4s mid track and there is a noticeable difference in sound quality. The ANC is much improved as well. I haven't taken them on a plane ride yet, but using them around the office and around my home, I can tell you that they have also improved upon their ANC technology. I use them with an Android phone for LDAC, but also have an iPad, and these seamlessly work with both for multipoint connection. Plus there are a bunch of new features that these have, that XM4s do not, mainly it the touch controls. These are feature rich and are more refined. I was hesitant to purchase these, as my XM4s worked perfectly fine. They were relatively new as well, since I had a bad pair of XM4s with defective batteries. Thankfully Sony had replaced the XM4s with a brand new pair last year, even though the warranty expired. If anything that motivated me more to upgrade since Sony righted their wrong and stood behind their product. That's excellent customer service. So if your questioning upgrading to these, from XM4s, I am confident that you will not regret it!

I'm a huge Samsung fan and have had galaxy buds for the past 10 years and have never had a pair of buds that had such good call quality. the only con that I have for them is that they don't have an ambient sound booster, but besides that, id pick these all day.

The quality is much better than cheaper earbuds, but with the price that should be expected. It feels very comfortable in the ear and the noise canceling is better than any other earbud. My only complaints are the transparency mode is pretty good, but not as seamless as I think it could be, the app is a little confusing, and setting up the Google Assistant to it is annoying, and the tracking is alright (there's no tracking on the case itself)
