Crisp highs, rich mids, and powerful, thumping bass make every song a journey into sonic perfection. Easy to adjust. The touch controls are very responsive. When powered on and placed on ears, they immediately drown out the outside nose. The mics work perfectly when on conference calls for which I use for work. The audio quality is superb which you can adjust through the Sony app to make it sound the way you want. The price was a little steep but well worth It!

Connect easily and are very comfortable. I had the Apple Air pods Max before these and these are BY FAR more comfortable and have better sound and mic quality

Super comfortable!

Wouldn’t recommend for high intensity workouts but great for lounging, light walks, and car rides! Love the features it has like noice cancellation and being able to turn it temporarily transparent while holding your palm to the right ear piece!

My wife has the xm3's These are an improvement, with better battery life and noise cancelling. Miss the NFC pairing but the app reconnects them easily when moving between devices. Case is a little lack luster.

This material fits snugly around the head with less pressure on the ears while keeping out external sounds. Great Audio and Noise Cancellation

For the noise cancellation, ensure they've sealed well around your ears, otherwise it's not good as some other reviewers have noted. Overall the comfort is pretty good minus the top headband. With the new narrow design it concentrates the pressure, which I find rather uncomfortable, especially after long use. I would definitely recommend trying the fit before buying. Given there isn't a star rating for comfort and fit, I'd give that 3 stars due to the issues highlighted above.

While we are thrilled that you are satisfied with the amazing noise canceling and incredible sound quality of our WH-1000XM5, we are really sorry if you find the top headband of these headphones uncomfortable- especially when wearing for a long period of time. The WH-1000XM5 are beautifully finished in newly developed soft fit leather. This material fits snugly around the head with less pressure on the ears while keeping out external sounds. You may try adjusting the headband slider so that they cover your ears and have more personalized comfort. You may also find the following article helpful:

Great headphones, but not for someone with a large

They had excellent sound quality. Ans they looked great. The noise canceling feature was awesome. I really enjoyed these. But the reason I returned them was they felt too tight for my head. No matter how I adjusted them, they always felt like they were too tight.

Superb headphones

I considered the apple AirPods Max, but they were much more expensive and not useful for non apple products. These headphones work with everything that supports bluetooth, including perfectly with all my Apple devices.

Works great for keeping the various rude passenger disturbances to a minimum. I was worried that the foam would make it uncomfortable on long flights, but it's no problem at all.
