I had the xm3 and just bought the xm5s. Way better noise cancelling that i love the most and the call quality is perfect. I took a phone call with lawnmower noise in the backtound and my sister said she could hear me perfect and clear. So two thumbs up for that. Lasty the sound quality is amazing as expected like my xm3s. So five stars for sure.

Both Sony products and I feel this is very inconvenient. There is also no way to find them with an Apple product

1) PlayStation Bluetooth Connectivity: The WH-1000XM5 headphones do not support a direct Bluetooth connection with the PlayStation console. While they are both Sony products, PlayStation consoles are designed to use their own proprietary wireless connection for controllers and dedicated gaming headsets (such as the INZONE or PULSE series) to ensure a stable, low-latency audio experience crucial for gaming. As a workaround, many users have success using the included 3.5mm audio cable to connect the headphones directly to the PlayStation controller.
2) "Find My" Feature with Apple Products: The WH-1000XM5 does not support Apple's "Find My" network. However, we do offer a similar feature within the Sony | Headphones Connect app. This "Find device" feature can help you locate the headphones if they are connected to your phone and within a short range.

After getting them on sale, these turned out to be my favorite headphones ever. - ANC - plane, car rides, people, door bell. I will miss everything. I originanly boguht them to try them out and to see if they were worth the big price, but let me say, every cent is worth it! Ive never used such premium sounding headphones that are worth the money! I love the fact they sound wonderful, the amazing noise counseling, and even the fact I can connect them to my gaming console with the cord that comes with them, and listen to my video games! Song is where it’s at!

I was completely blown away by the 5 (they don’t fold up like the 4) the sound is incredible. They knock the BOSE out the park, (my personal opinion). They also have an app that my nephew downloaded for me and I can make adjustments to the sound and many of the other features. My nephew is doing chores around my house to make extra money to purchase the XMS5.
