      Hi Guzi, Thank you for sharing your feedback on your experience with your WH1000XM5. While we're glad you like the amazing sound quality of the unit, we regret to hear you're having some heat discomfort when wearing the headset due to the tight seal over the ears.
      If you put on the headset without adjusting the slider, the headset may not be positioned properly on your head, resulting in discomfort.
      To ensure a comfortable fit and to use the unit for longer periods, please adjust the left and right slider. This unit also has super-soft, pressure-relieving earpads foamed urethane that evenly distributes pressure.

Because the headset achieves a tight seal over the ears, forcibly pressing it against your ears or quickly pulling it off can result in eardrum damage. When wearing the headset, the speaker diaphragm may produce a click sound. This is not a malfunction.

Please note that not all apps are design to support this feature.     These headphones improve the feeling and sound quality of their previous model, there's a lack of that super heavy bass that I loved in the XM3s, this review would be a 5 star review if recreating that physical bass was possible with these, but it is not.

    I was excited at first but was out of the country and it started randomly stopping. I thought it was my phone but I swapped it yesterday and still the same problem. Mine is obviously defective.

    These are not design to wear for intense exercising. They are affect by the sweat. Also, had issues with the sound going in and out of the left side. On a positive note they hold a charge for a long time.

      Hi Johnny, while the WH1000XM5 units don’t have an IPX rating, These can be used in the gym for workouts. For more serious workouts, we suggest our headphones specifically designed for that task. Check out our WF-C500s and the WF-1000XM4s.

    I really love this headphones the only complaint I have is that when I call other Samsung phones I have this loud bad feedback. I also tried calling my own phone using my extra phone and still have that ugly feedback. I even tried lowering down the volume and see if it does help still no luck and had to end up returning it.

      While we're glad you like the exceptional noise cancelling and sound quality of the headphones, it's unfortunate to hear that you're hearing unwanted noise on your headphones. This is definitely not the experience we'd like to hear from you. For noise or unusual sound that is heard during calls, re-establish the connection between the headphones and your source device. Select HFP or HSP for the profile. We also recommend updating the headphones on the latest firmware version. The software includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements.

      If the behavior still continues, resetting and initializing the headset may help with the troubleshooting. Please note we have a customer hotline that is happy to assist you and help troubleshoot any concerns you have, and your headphones has a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.

    Works incredibly well. I was amazed how nice it was on a recent flight. The sound is great and then you turn on the noise cancelling and all the background noise goes away.

    Does not work correctly on a PC with Windows

    Do not buy this headset if you plan on using it with a PC because when you enable the hands free microphone in Windows, the sound quality becomes extremely tinny in quality to the point that it hurts your ears. The only way to fix this is to disable the hands free microphone in the device manager. Another issue that this headset allows you to connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time, but if you do this, then any video on your PC will constantly stop playing and the only way to address this issue is to disable this ability, or turn off the Bluetooth of the other device that is is attached to. When you enable the ability to connect to two Bluetooth devices, the headset is extremely sensitive to the location of the Bluetooth antenna on the PC and this results in intermittent disconnecting from the computer. Another issue is that the Bluetooth antenna on the headset is in the left ear cup so if your computer positioned on your right side, your Bluetooth connection will be intermittent. The only way to fix this is to either move your PC to left side, or move the PC Bluetooth antenna where it has a direct line of sight with the left ear of the headset. To get this headset to work with my PC, I had to disable the ability to connect to two devices at the same time, and then move my PC Bluetooth antenna to where the left ear phone was in visual sight of it, and I had to purchase a separate microphone for recording and chatting.

    Worst Headphones I Ever Owned

    I had Bose before this and thought I would upgrade. Moving to Sony was the worst mistake I made. It cannot do simple things and is constantly having issues. They over engineered with to a point basic needs are not met. Constantly pausing audio or starting audio without being prompted to. I even looked up and turned off all their fancy settings. Still issues. I would not buy Sony ever again.

    these headphones were so disappointing, and that makes me so sad because everyone hyped them up online. the ANC wasn’t the best, but pretty ok. it worked the best when you had your volume way up. the main reason i’m upset it that the second time i tried connecting these headphones to my phone, iphone 12 mini for refrence, they started making a terrible crackling and static sound and wouldn’t power on. i had only used them one time before for about ten minutes fresh out of the box with a full charge. i really thought that these headphones were supposed to be the best on the market :(

    Bought these for my daughter who needs to wear headphones all day due to hearing sensitivity. The noise cancelling feature leaves much to be desired. We returned it.
