Tons of functionality. You can use them as the main TV speakers without sound bar (they support HDMI arc which is really cool) or as surround sound with a sony surround bar. I am using them for surround sound. They were easy to set up (get the instructions from the internet), they sound great and they work every time. Note: I use the soundPal android app to configure them.

Okay this is my continued review of the sound bar system I bought with Sony setup. These speakers are nice with the sound bar but I should have bought the ones for a $100 more. The sound is nice but to get the true hi-res sound buy the other speakers. I'll probably buy those when I get a little more money

The wireless speakers work well with the Sony TV and provide quality sound.

I purchased a pair of these wireless speakers to add to my Sony soundbar and sub package (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-2-1-channel-hi-res-soundbar-system-with-wireless-subwoofer-and-digital-amplifier-black/4890100.p?skuId=4890100). This was a valuable addition to the system. The rear sound is awesomeness when shows and movies offer surround sound. I've had a blast listening to 5.1 surround sound videos on YouTube through this system!

In the past we had a Samsung 5.1 home theatre system, rated at 1000 watts. These speakers, coupled with the HT-CT800 soundbar, sound better to me. I do think that Samsung's interface was a bit more user friendly. It seems like you have to do a lot of thinking to get were you need to go with regards to optimizing the sound quality. I am tech oriented, so it's not a problem for me, but it *could* be for others.

Does okay just with surround sound. But doesn’t get everything

I bought two of these for my Sony Sound Bar. Connecting to my Sony Sound Bar was kind of tricky but once it worked it sounded great. Problem is that they lose their connection and it's a pain to reconnect. I definitely recommend for multi-room but not for surround sound.

I’ve been wanting to get these addtional speakers for my Sony 790 and found them at an Open Box deal for about $120 each. They work great and as expected. Set-up was easy, which I had to figure out myself (instructions were no help). Yes, I do recommend this product.

Sound is crisp and clear. Not disappointed great base

I purchased 2 of these to serve as rear surround speakers. At first, my plan was to just set them on the end tables but found that I couldn't hear them very well. Part of the problem is because my couch has the high arms and blocked a direct path from our ears to the speaker. So I then purchased stands that would bring them up to ear level and that changed everything. It's better than I expected and no regrets.

Got a couple of these speakers to network with google home. These speakers have every connection type, Bluetooth , wifi, chromecast, hmdi, aux input. Read many reviews. Were comparable to Sonus sound quality wise but has more connection types. Bought them on sale and put them on the BB card to get additional $ off. Very very pleased. Plan on buying a few more and putting them all over the house.
