I purchased this laptop to run various Computer Science and Data Science programs. The amount of RAM is perfect to write, run and debug programs. I have used this laptop to code in Python, Pandas, SQL, Java and others. The battery tends to get a little bit hot when used for long periods of time. Overall a great laptop!

I bought this laptop after I saw it go on sale...I am completely blown away of this laptop can do. Fingerprint reader, 4K display and 16 gigs of memory are just a few of the standouts. It was completely easy to set up. As a consultant, this meets my every day needs of being able to be mobile and meet with clients.

I use the laptop for my interior styling work. It is functional and user friendly in my needs that include seeking out and categorizing quality items to buy, recommending similar items in the edge search engine, the snipping tool to create vision boards, and allowing for seamless transition to multiple desktops for my projects.

    Great laptop for college engineering

This laptop has been in everyday use for undergraduate engineering courses for about a year. It works perfectly for every application and program I’ve asked it to run. Only thing I would suggest is that if you plan to do a lot of digital graphic design, you get the 15inch screen as opposed to the 13inch screen

Comparate to the average computer for the price, you get a very good deal. The build quality is very good. The screen is amazing. The only complain is that the CPU is under powered to save battery life. It's okay for almost every user. But once you start doing intense work on it it will slow down a bit. Great buy.

I was a little hesitant with the touchscreen, table deal. I love it. A little weird that talks to you through the whole setup and the facial recognition to unlock. If you are into talking to stuff instead of typing this for you. I turn that off. The pen is very sensitive haven’t had enough time to play with it, so far so good.

Great looking laptop with Microsoft book specs at half the price even though darker color costs $200 more. I had to return due to the hinge alignment that others complain about thinking I would maybe get one without that problem, but struck out twice.

Bought this for my daughter who just graduated High School and moved to a new city for a gap year before college. She really likes her new HP because it is thin, lightweight, but very fast and powerful, with a beautiful HD screen. The fingerprint log-in sensor and pen for drawing or writing on screen are nice features.

This computer gets 10 stars. All I can say is, it works exceptionally well on all levels. You will be happy the day you buy this computer. The new one is out and looks really sharp as well. Mine is still going strong and always reliable. NO issues.

I have several laptops with this HP Spectre 360. I'm a Macbook Pro user being used to the Apple quality but my Spectre 360 is as close to a Macbook Pro as I have ever found. Very fast with great screen 4K quality. Great sound from the speakers during movies. I'm very impressed and plan on purchasing other HP products.

Great screen, fast CPU. Lightweight, flexible design, Only issue is touch pad. Left click must be on the left portion of the pad. Shutdown is also confusing. Software shut down does not turn the hardware off. You have to hold the shift key and use the hardware button or else the battery continues to drain.

This is the first laptop that I purchased on my own and the reason I am writing the review now is because it is the longest that I've kept a laptop in working condition. I flip to tablet mode to teach my classes on whiteboard mode. Easy to use and great colors.

    Powerful Specs but problematic

I tried this machine for 2 weeks. And realized that the race that laptop brands are running to make their screens more 'retina' and more 'Ultra HD' may not work everytime. This machine had powerful specs, but since the screen is UHD, it ended up sucking in the RAM and kept hanging. So i thought, maybe its a one-off problem and returned it and got a 2nd one since i really liked the color reproduction on screen as i am into graphic designing. However the 2nd machine gave me the same problem and even basic programs like Word, Excel etc kept hanging. So while 3 stars for the brilliant screen this laptop has, i wish it had worked a bit more smoother for me to retain it.

So I am a Mac fan but needed a powerful non-Mac machine for work purposes. This computer is fantastic. It is powerful, easily turns into a tablet, the accompanying pen works great, speakers are wonderful, and it simply looks great. I love it. Could it be a replacement for my MacBook? Hmmm, maybe so.

HP Spectre feels like it was machined out of a solid block of aluminum. Hinges are just stiff enough for the screen to stay wherever you set it. On the (slight) negative, in tablet mode, the speakers aim away from the viewer, but this can be overcome by connecting to an external Bluetooth speaker
