Nice design. Battery and keyboard not great

While I very much like the design of this laptop, it did not live up to expectations. I do not use CPU intensive applications nor watch videos that could drain the battery. However, I found battery life to be bad. I get about 3 hours from just web browsing. One of the major reasons for buying this laptop was with expectation that the battery would last all day. My 5 yr old Mac Air still gets a good 7 hours of web browsing. Then there’s the keyboard. I’m typing all day at work and am really fast at it. When I get home and get on this laptop, it feels like I don’t know how to type. The problem is the indexing which causes my hand placement to be off. It’s the last line of keys. I regret not paying attention to this. Guess I assumed this is something manufacturers got figured out after decades of experience.

love the simplistic yet stylish outlook. user interface is quite easy to navigate and learn. 360 option and its lightweight makes using it as a tablet a breeze. Very happy with the purchase. Battery lasts all day (using multiple windows and live streaming simultaneously) Deff a recommended product!

    Performs Great, Runs Hot

I picked up this laptop because it met all my specs and size needs for DJing. Runs seamlessly, however, the laptop does run hot when in full operation with DJ program, connected external drive, and midi controller. Only reason for 4 stars...purchases a separate cooling fan to try to offset the heat.

This laptop is honestly the best purchase I made for school. I love how sleek and beautiful it is. Being able to fold it has helped me to comfortably read many of my online textbooks and the battery life is great. Highly recommend for students.

This 2-in1 laptop has all the features you want in a laptop and more. It looks and feels like a quality machine and performs above expectations. It is a little pricey but compared to similar products with other brands, it offers more features at a better price. Highly recommended!

I love my new laptop! I initially purchased the 15 inch HP Spectre and although it was great it was not very practical to be carrying around. The 13.3 is a great size and very convenient to take to work. I love it so far. I haven't had any problems with it at all.

i WAS HOPING THIS WOULD BE A GREAT LAPTOP, I AM NOT A FAIR OF WINDOWS 10 OR OUTLOOK. IT IS HARDER TO FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AND I DON'T CARE OF EDGE AS A SEARCH ENGINE. THIS LAPTOP ISN'T VERY USER FRIENDLY EVEN THOUGH I WAS TOLD IT WAS ONE OF THE BETTER ONES OUT THERE

I love this computer. It is smokin' fast and the extra pixels in the screen is nice to look at. I use it in the field all day and the battery lasts all day even when I use it continuously. It's light, fires up in a few short seconds an. Buy one you'll love it!

I purchased this computer a month ago and aside from the fingerprint scanner being glitchy, it's a great computer. I use it for graphic design work and it's awesome for running multiple programs at once. Price-wise it isn't too bad. The dark ash finish is nice.

Trouble free, fast and light. Go this for my wife. She likes it a lot more than the old laptop. I like it too but I needed a numeric keypad and 2TB drive so I had to get something else. Would easily buy it again.

Fantastic at First. Bad in the Long Run

Purchased this back in April 2018 and the date today is December 7th, 2020. For the first year, I'd say this laptop was amazing. It was lightning fast and was able to run all the stuff I needed it to. But then, things stopped working and breaking little by little as well as other very stupid issues. Some of the things right from the start that I absolutely hated about this was the fact that there is a delay from typing to using your touch pad. Like as I'm typing this, if I try to immediately use the pad and "Click," not move the mouse, but click, it won't process anything. You can adjust the settings to remove a delay from typing to moving the mouse (which is how it comes stock) but no matter what, you cannot remove the ingenious design by some dipsh*t developer who thought it would be a great idea to make the user wait half a second from typing, to be able to click elsewhere. This makes my workflow ridiculously slow compared to other computers/macbooks. Then, for whatever reason, the device that connects the laptop to the internet via wifi, would cause the laptop to wake whenever closed, so my laptop would be completely drained whenever I'd resume using it so I had to go and update that myself. Then the facial recognition feature stopped working. I assume it's the infrared cameras. When it would work, the laptop would open and you'd see 2 red squares light up checking for you. First only one turned on, still worked. Now, both haven't been on in about a year. Additionally, the rubber grips on the bottom of the laptop completely peeled off. Out of the countless laptops I've had in my life, that's the first time I've ever seen that happen. Again, if everything was as smooth as it was when I first go it, I'd recommend it. But all the technical issues like the stupid delay along with features not working is just ridiculous. Very poor craftsmanship.

Got this for someone heading of to college. Talked to the associate a long time about what all she would be needing a laptop for and decided this was the best one for her. Perfect size to work on, yet not to big or heavy to be carrying around to classes.

I purchased this laptop to replace my desktop computer. This HP is faster, nice touch to the lighted keyboard, and looks very nice. I use dragon software to transcribe speeches that I record and the laptop is so light & portable. Could not be happier.

The screen is really nice, but 4K on a 13 inch screen definitely seems a tad unnecessary now that I've had an extended, personal hands on with it. Also had one instance of it freezing, but that was Windows being Windows. No major complaints so far.

great new laptop. I ran over it with my car and still works. To my amazement the screen did not crack though the keyboard is now curved; but still works. I'm impressed it was that durable. I thought I was toast when I ran over it.

For starters, I own a small company and I buy all our computers at Best Buy. This one started out strong, but shortly after purchase, the keyboard started freezing for 5-10 seconds at a time. My IT consultant couldn't fix it. Now, after 6 months, one of the USB-C ports failed. So I have to try to exercise the warranty on it. Not so thrilled or impressed with this PC and I don't know if I will buy any more HP laptops - depends on the customer service!

2 things I have come to notice about this device. First, the USB-C connections are very close together. I use a USB-C adapter to use and when using that and trying to charge, it is not very helpful. Other thing, I use a drawing application and always have to erase often, because screen detects my hand touching before I start drawing with HP pen. That gets annoying after awhile. For now, that's all that keeps from 5 stars. Still a good laptop
