Great looks, but a bit fragile
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looks great, but the laptop is not as sturdy when compared to Windows Surface or Macbooks. If all 3 suffer a fall this will likely shatter more. It fell, and had a dent and a small part broke

Overheats
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was using it at as a tablet while in bed, and laid it down on the comforter for a while. I came back 15 minutes later and the laptop was extremely hot. I'm assuming the fan or cooling system is in the speakers and not on the sides. That was my major problem with the 2 in 1. My minor issue was that there wasn't a storage place for pen... I'm bound to lose it. Other than that, the set up was easy. The computer was fast while uploading and downloading files. The memory is great, I love the backlit keyboard, and the case that comes with it.

I like
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice little, powerful labtop. No issues to date. Set up took its time and the touchpad is super sensitive, even at the lowest level. Needs some getting used to, but i am hopeful.

Open box not best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the HP Spectre and thought this would be a great buy, but as an open-box it had some issues that Geeksquad couldn't fix. I opted for a new machine.

Nice design but horrible heat output
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice computer overall, but I do not recommend. The unit I received had horrible heat issues, with the fan constantly spinning, and excessive coil whine. Never experienced coil whine as loud as this was. Computer got so hot that calling it a laptop was a joke. Buyer beware, read reviews before purchasing as the heat and fan issues place this lineup

Not worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was a great laptop but just has too many flaws. First the fan is too loud. The speakers sounded as if they were muffled a month in. The camera had a pink tint that would go on and off. Could not use this for work video calls unfortunately. Waste of money! Great design but thats about it!

Selfie Camera ONLY
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would you spend $1500 for Selfie Camera ONLY. Fingerprint barely worked. Cortano Barely listened, need I say more? Keypad nice and soft but with ole eyes hard to see keys, had to have keyboard lit at all times. I ASKED AND TOLD I NEEDED a camera to take pictures, salesperson said all laptops have cameras, NO< they all have selfie cameras...Exchange for Surface, let's hope that one is better.....

Good machine but has heat issues
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do get get this for your kids or yourself if you don’t want to put up with excessive heat and fan noise from day 1. My usage is mostly just internet browsing and occasionally a word or excel doc, but even with just one program open it has always heated up like crazy. I think I should have opted for the 15 inch version.

Other Reviews Are Rating the WRONG Spectre!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, Most of the reviews under this product are for the 13" version! This is a totally different machine! This review is for the 15.6 4k 8th Gen I-7 WITH NVIDIA MX150 2 G GPU & 16G Ram! Quality control on my machine is great! The hinge is solid and you are not able to open with one hand. The screen is very nice, not super bright but shows colors as they should be. There were no dings, scratches, or blemishes of any kind upon un-boxing. However the aluminum finish in ash shows finger prints well but cleans easy. The performance of this machine is incredible for how slim & convertible this device actually is. If you are wanting this device as a tablet i would recommend the 13" over the 15" as this is a huge for this purpose. I did not realize how powerful this computer was until i was streaming 4k Video to an external monitor while working remotely via team viewer, downloading large game files (15G) and browsing the internet, all while running AUTO-CAD Lite. While the computer did get warm and the fans did come on this machine kept up with no fuss and i would not hesitate to put it through those conditions again with same results. The thing that really sets this Spectre Apart from the others is the Geforce MX150 2gb Dedicated graphics. Seriously it is insane what a computer in this price range can now do and stay physically this small/gorgeous. You wont be playing AAA titles on ultra at 4k but you can play older games flawlessly such as skyrim (4k High Settings) with high FPS & even BF1 high settings at 1080P. All in all i picked this up form black Friday for the astonishing 1199 price tag. I can honestly say i have put this computer through the ringer and for what it is, ( A mid level internally, Beautiful Ultra book with 2 Gb dedicated graphics) this machine performs way past my expectations. The only downside to me is having only 1 usb and no numerical keyboard. But both of these shortcomings can be rendered easily. All in all for the price i paid i am more than satisfied, and would not hesitate purchasing again. (HP Spectre 15.6" W/MX150 Graphics Kills Yoga 920 W/ HD 620) (If the yoga had the mx150 it would be a toss up)

Beautiful but flaws out the gate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased - looked very sleek, good specs and value for dollars. Opened the box, opened the laptop, left hinge was already jacked up. Checked google, tons have reported the issue only to be told thanks for letting us know and we’ll contact you directly. No thanks. Returned and grabbed the Lenovo C930, this was the right choice.

This computer is Great. Love it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been watching this computer for some time and wouldn't buy it because of the first bad review. After a couple good reviews showed up. I decided to go for it. I bought two of them since my wife and I always have the same computer. I'm sure glad I did. This computer looks fantastic and is fast in everything we have done with it. Set up was easy. The size and weight is perfect. The keyboard is great with no issues. I couldn't ask for a better computer. We absolutely are happy we bought these.

Great laptop when it actually charges!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upon opening the laptop, I plugged it in to charge and it did not seem to be charging. It would charge for seconds and then stop charging. I thought maybe this was a charging feature but after leaving it to charge overnight, it still only charged to 13%. Since it was brand new, I figured it was something I was doing wrong. I held on to it for over two weeks with no success getting it to charge. I took the laptop to Geek Squad who confirmed the laptop is faulty. They would not exchange the laptop and instead sent it to a repair facility, utilizing the protection that I purchased with the product. So all in all, the brand new laptop was faulty and would not be exchanged for a working one. They are repairing my "brand new" laptop. The laptop seemed great for the few minutes I actually had enough battery to use it.
