    Apple discontinued true “black” and midnight is the closest to it. However, it’s more of a charcoal with a baby blue hue. Other than the color being a little off from black, it’s great.

    I purchased this as an open box but it was marked as a store display. I’m happy with it especially at the price I paid for it. I love the apple bands. They are so different than any aftermarket brand.
