We understand the importance of having a solid charge on your Ring Spotlight Cam Pro so that you are able to have a longer time between charge cycles. Having longevity in a battery-powered security device is crucial when it comes to monitoring your home, especially if you are away for long periods of time. We are here to provide you with some education to resolve the battery life issue you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. There are some troubleshooting steps that you can take to ensure that you have your device set up for optimal battery-life performance. The more events captured by your Ring devices, the more your battery is used. Using "Live View" can also drain your battery faster. If your device is capturing an excessive number of events each day, you may need to recharge your battery sooner.
To prevent excessive activity, under "Motion Settings" for your device in the Ring app, you can:
Adjust your "Motion Sensitivity" slider to a lower sensitivity.
Redraw your "Customizable Motion Zones."
Change "Motion Frequency" to regularly or periodically.
You could also adjust the direction of your Ring device so it doesn't detect as much motion.
You can go to "Power Settings" in the Ring app to see what features may be draining your battery.
To access "Power Settings," open the Ring app:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left of the dashboard.
Tap "Devices."
Tap the individual device (video doorbell or security camera) you want to check.
Tap "Power Settings" to check your "Battery Level" percentage and "Feature Power Usage."
Tap a feature to adjust "Snapshot Capture," "Motion Frequency," and "Video Recording Length.".

It really lights up in the night time. I'm hoping it's enough to scare away anyone who shouldn't be around at night time. Plus the voice feedback is great to you can hear everything with no problem. There are not delays in voice feedback. Motion sensor is spot on. Again This camera is great, you should buy this one highly recommended.

We also bought the solar panel so we wouldn’t have to use the houses power to run it. The Ring Flood Light Camera also includes two-way audio, which allows you to communicate with anyone who is on your property, whether it's a delivery person or a potential intruder. One potential downside of the Ring Flood Light Camera is that it requires a subscription to access certain features, such as cloud storage for recorded footage. I have the subscription so no need to worry about that. Overall, the Ring Flood Light Camera is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their home security. Its combination of motion-activated floodlights, a wide-angle camera, and two-way audio make it a versatile and effective device for deterring potential intruders and keeping your property safe. On a side note I helped one of your salesman at the store with helping a potential customer out on her decision to purchase one. Since we own one of the ring doorbell’s and an indoor camera I thought that it would be a good idea to get a first-hand experience with ring products from us to that customer, and we were also in the process of buying the spotlight one at the time, so giving her advice on the product was a good idea. hopefully it helped her and I got the salesman a sale.
