BOUGHT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER AND SHE LOVES IT, ....

For 39.99 it's a good phone. Pros: Clean system, full feature smart phone, good feeling in hand, nice user friendly features from Moto. Cons: No flash for camera, low performance I have google Nexus 4 and LG tribute Duo. Compare to Nexus 4, Moto e is lower in performance. However, Moto system is even better than pure android system. It's clean and smooth, much better than the laggy LG system. And it also have some very nice features, e.g. twist it twice to open the camera, the screen will automatically glow for a few seconds when you take out the phone to read time. I think the best feature is smart lock: you can set trusted locations in smart lock setting, so you don't have to input password to unlock the phone at home, and if you lost the phone outside, others can't access your data without the password. Over all, good phone for the price but don't expect too much. Better than LG tribute Duo.

It was the cheapest phone I could get. Along with the promo, it cost me $10. It's performing about how you would expect a $10 phone to perform. Not enough memory, lagging a lot. I'll ditch this phone as soon as I can.

I don't like this phone at all...every time I open my screen it brings me to the option of making a call...I don't always want to make a call! It drops calls and does not record if I miss a call when my service is in a bad area..it has frozen up on me and I've only had it for a month...

This phone has poor battery life. You cannot add an app without granting Google access to your contacts and calendar and even your photos. That's too invasive for me. Recent android update completely froze the unit on startup. It stayed in a state of "loading" until the battery ran down. After recharging it finally booted. I also own an iPhone 6 so I can't image why I bought a $30 piece of junk. Just wanted a spare cell phone.

This is a prepaid phone. I sent it back 2x because of random rebooting. Something wrong with the Sprint settings.

Its a good starter phone for my kids. They seem to enjoy using it. I just wish it offered more then 1gb for $30/

Purchased the Moto E as a backup phone on my free Sprint MVNO provider (@#$%+). Wow! This is a great little phone. Fast processor, bright and sharp screen, and decent enough storage for a backup device. If it were bigger, I would make it my primary phone. The only con I can think of - and I really had to think hard - is its weight. Pretty heavy for a 4.5 inch display. Buy it - you can't go wrong for 30 bucks!

I called Motorola 4 times and finally they said they will send me a new one.

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter and have had to factory reset it 4 times in a month. The phone does not work properly at all! Jome button disappears and you can do nothing. I do not recommend. Returning to purchase a different phone

Battery can not be removed when frozen. It had an issue with boostmobile and requested it to be fixed, on both different occasions that I called and the issue was never resolved. Therefore, their business with me was unfair and illegal. I reported the issue to consumers affair.

Cheap piece of junk cell phone. Weak, low quality. Bad @ finding a signal. Video can not run smooth or seamlessly. Phone & voice mail are hard to use.

It makes calls to my contact list whenever it wants to. Very annoying and inconvenient not only for me but others that have to deal with my calls.

Not user friendly. Waste of money customer service hard to reach. Takes forever to charge. Would not recommend to anyone Best Buy recommended at store but apparently does not use.

This is an excellent budget phone, and with Motorola promising updates, I am happy I will have the latest version of android lollipop when Motorola pushes them out. The UI is clean and simple, which I like allot, no added bloatware like allot of the other phones which means more internal storage for this phone. The camera isn't the best, but it isn't the worst either, it's serviceable, gets the job done. HDR mode helps and changing the the setting to higher resolution helps also. Don't use the defaults. The battery life is quite good.

Of the number of no contract phone I've owned, this is the best yet. I've usually had issues with lack of speed and memory with my other phones. I have not had those problems with this phone. All my other phones have also cost way more. I do have one issue and that's the lack of a flash but the camera is surprisingly good even without a flash. My bottom line reviews is that if I had a chance to buy it again, would I? YES I would.
