Affordable alternative to having a credit card terminal. I love that best buy has these square readers in stock, because as a traveling artist sometimes I forget to pack my square reader. Its convenient and affordable to pick one up at the best buy nearest ti whatever city I'm un at the time.

So, easy to use plus it is small and you can carry anywhere.

My wife was doing a trade show and we needed something to be able to take debit and credit cards. We normally use a Paypal device but couldn’t find it so I went to Best Buy and found the square. She had her account set up by time I got back from the store & was able to plug the device right in and take orders.

I purchased this square to use for small business transactions I dont make enough credit card transactions to make having a real credit card reader worth it, this square is an easy alternative and it seems to work pretty good. I wish it came with an extension for the 3.5 jack because most people have cases on their phones and being how close the 3.5 jack is to the actual card reader it makes it hard to use on my phone while the case is on it. But you get the 10$ you pay for the square back with your first purchase transaction.

We had no experience taking credit cards as payment. Our bank had many forms and needed approvals. Square saved us. Easy to buy at the Best Buy store, and took only minutes to set up. It worked great at our organization's Wine Tasting and Silent Auction. We think it gave people the option to spend more than if they could only play by cash or check.

A sceptic at first. Now, I'm not sure why I didn't get one a long time ago. I use this almost every day with my business. It was easy to set up and it is easy to use. A very reasonable rate and I love the fact that I can use this wherever I get phone service. Super cool little gadget that makes doing credit card transactions a breeze. Highly recommended!

Quick and easy setup. Works well with all cards except Bank of America. Fees are a little higher but no machine, supplies or contract.

Some of my customers didn't want to pay for services rendered by check or cash - as many people today, they wanted to pay by credit card. This item, the Square, made taking their credit card simple using my smart phone, and the cost was very reasonable. A Win, Win, situatioin for me and my customers.
