Q: How would this work for an iPhone 7 plus?
A: I have the iPhone 7+ and it works just fine if you use the adapter which came with your phone for 3.5mm headphones.
A: Yes. If card has magnetic strip, Square can read it. They have a new Square reader, more expensive, that takes chip cards, but I just haven't had any problems with chipped cards using the cheap version.
