This product would be a lot better if it worked more efficiently.

Worked great but they tend not to last. Design is not ideal for constant daily use.

I use square since 6 years ago very convenient for small business.

With no formal invoice I can receive payment with money in the bank pretty quick.

its okay if you need to run few transaction but its should be little solid built.

This is probably a great device for small businesses but I don't like the fact that it asks for a lot of financial and tax related information. In this day and time I guess it is impossible to keep a majority of the amount of money you receive from a side business from the government. That is why I give this product a poor rating. If it were not for that this would get 5 stars. I just prefer some form of privacy.

It worked. Was in a pinch. Glad I don't use a new apple phone.

Even though the "commercials" claim BestBuy helps with all of the products they sell, this was not the case with the "SQUARE." There was no one that could give any information as to how the square worked with the iPad also purchased at BestBuy.

Could be better... Sometimes works, other it takes several times.

It worked half the time. Not sure what the problem was.

The sales guys (2 of 'em) description for this device specifically says it will work with Android. The printed material enclosed specifically says there is no way this device will work with anything OTHER THAN I-devices. Sure it's only $9.99, but I had a long drive to get it, and now I am stuck hand entering cc numbers for 2 days of sales. Simple mistake with a HUGE impact on me.

I thought it would work with another 'pay program' ...nope!

I had problems completing checking out clients with this Square Reader...I had to return it and Square sent me one from the company..The one they sent works perfectly.. They said this model was current..

I bought this to take credit cards every once in a while but after dancing all over trying to get it set up, I was not approved for an account as they could not verify who I was. I have been me for over 52 years and have used other services but stopped. I am told that once you are refused by their automatic system, you are banned for life. They could not explain why I was refused and there are no means to try again. Threw it in the trash.

It didn't work by touch or slide the credit card, had to type in credit card & I was charged 3.6% + .15. I was informed by the sales person that Square churches were 2.6% +.10..... I was disappointed.

I'm stunned at how well this product works. First, they refund the $10 investment 24 hours after you purchase this product. It links directly to a bank account and allows you to charge credit cards with a reasonable fee (don't forget you are not paying anything for the account and there are no monthly fees). The device itself is small enough to fit in a pocket and pull out when you need to run a card. There is a bit of a trick to get it to swipe - you swipe and pull up at the last bit - almost 30 degrees - works everytime. We are using this at a charity event - first time we are able to accept credit cards instead of checks/cash - people love it. The receipt is either Emailed or TXT to the purcahser - they not only get a full receipt but a copy of their signature and a GPS location / Map. More than anyone would need - plus, if there is fraud, you'd know where the person was. Can't say enough about this product, great job!

I bought this the day of my first event and I had No issues at all. Thank Goodness!
