It’s only a couple of times a year so merchant service contracts aren’t worth it. The square reader is a perfect solution for us. It’s easy to operate and can be handed off to the next volunteer.

It even has a coupon code to get your $10 back you paid for it. The app is great and makes it breeze. The only is issue is if you have an OtterBox case it will not allow it to plug in all the way.

Your funds go straight to your bank account. No member ship fees, and plus you get $10 back from the reader after you create an account. Plus, they send you stickers for display and a free square reader!

I use it for my iPhone 6 Plus, iPad 2nd Gen, and Galaxy S3. Also Square will give you credit for your reader purchase when you set up a checking account for deposits.

Working well and helps with sales

But after reading reviews and talking to a few people that were using square, I decided to give it a try. The company reimbursed me for the purchase of the reader and even offered to waive fees for the first $1000 so I really had nothing to lose. The first day I had multiple sales that may not have happened if I didn't except credit cards. Excepting the cards was very easy to do on my smart phone and the company made the deposits of the funds in about 24 hours. So far I'm very pleased that I purchased and signed up for Square.

I plugged this into the headphone jack of my phone and I was able to take credit card sales.
