After testing the square reader out I was pleasantly surprised to see that on the box it shows a promotion where if you type the code given to you in the box on the square website, you get $10 deposited into your bank account.

For the price that was paid it is a great deal and works amazingly

I got this for my grandfather, a craftsman that works festivals and fairs, for his birthday. He's not technology savvy, but because it's so easy to use, it's helped him expand his business. He can now accept credit cards and his business has doubled.

This is the same card reader you can get for free from Square, but I bought it at Best Buy so that I didn't have to wait to receive the free one in the mail. Square is a great way to take credit cards from your smart phone or tablet.

I have no complaints about the Square card reader at this point. It will be replaced within 3-4 months because of the changes in security requirements so Durability isn't a huge concern for me at this point but it has worked flawlessly so far.

I had been using a traditional card reader with processing fees, pci compliance and network access fees. Not anymore! Square has eliminated the hoops and I get reports along with the ability of tracking return customers. It's empowering.

This is by far the best bet when looking into purchasing a credit card reader. No hassle or fuss with set up. Anyone cold set it up in 5 minutes and be ready to go. Highly recommended.

great, easy to use system and interface. fortunately there are best buys everywhere so if you lose or forget your card reader, you can get another one for just $10. Also, square will refund you the $10.

I already had a square card reader but I had left it at home. Ran into Best Buy and picked up a new one. Love the fact that I just had to plug it into my Ipad and go.

This works well to read cards in Square app in case your phone has the headset jack.

Worked perfect for taking credit/debit cards. It's easier for people to buy higher priced items with their card than walking around with cash. A friend recommended "the square" reader to me and I'm so glad I took her advice.
