I have not had any declined transactions, money hits my account next business day. Have not had any problems. Swipe at 2.75%. If you are doing less than $3k a month, then square is more economical than full blown merchant account. If over this, then merchant account will save you more money in long run, but have to deal with all the crazy extra fees....PCI, 1099k, early term, monthly minimums, and the list goes on and on.....
