got this to use at trade shows for my business. The program allows individual products to be listed. Kind of time consuming but worth it. The fees are a little steep for a small business though.

My boyfriend and I were very happy with this purchase! We bought it for an art festival - and I will admit, was a little hesitant for the fear of it not working - but everything went swimmingly! It was easy to set up and all the money was in my boyfriends account on Monday morning (the festival was over the weekend). WiFi is not required for this to work. My only advise would be to make sure your phone has a thin case; my boyfriend has an OtterBox and had to take it off in order for the Square to insert all the way.

Works exactly as specified. Plugs into an iOS or Android device and allows the user to accept credit cards with a 2.75% charge per transaction.

I am the PTO President for my daughters elementary school. Last year we had numerous family members asking if we accepted credit/debit card payments so they were able to purchase our shirts. I had to turn away hundreds of dollars because we only had the capability to accept cash or check. After reviewing the details on the Square Device, I knew it would be the perfect fit for us. We used it, for the first time, at our kindergarten through 2nd grade open house event last week and it worked miracles! We were able to sell over $50 in Just credit card sales! That may not seem like a lot to some, but we are the most poverty stricken school in our district, so being able to sell over $25 at one of our events, is a big deal for us. I highly recommend the Square device. It is so easy to use.

I needed something to help me with sales at an event. The Square was recommended and I found it at the local Best Buy. I purchased it for about $8, but with the perk of a $10 deposit from Square to my bank account. The installation was simple and it worked at my event on my Android phone. I could not, however, get it to work on my HP tablet. I don't know why, but I think it had to do with HP and proprietary rights to their apps, because I could not download the app. I'm not sure why and was in too big of a hurry to explore with HP. As it turned out I only needed the square for two transactions. I was grateful to have it and was not bothered by the percentage they earned on my sales. I'm hoping that for my next event I find a way to get it to work on my HP device.

Works great. No hiccups every time I used it. It swiped every card allowed. Fast and easy transactions.

Square reader is awesome! I would recommend everyone replace old credit card machine by square!

I'm amazed it took me so long to get one of these! It was so inexpensive ($9.99) and easy to use. Plugs right into the jack on your SmartPhone. I'm a novelist and often sell my books (Different Drummer, The El and The Bells of Brooklyn) at readings. It's so great to be able to offer folks the option to charge purchase to their credit cards. At my last reading, I actually had more credit card sales than cash sales. One person bought all 3 of my books, which is a rarity with cash.

I use this often and it has worked great every time. Every small business should have one. I have used it on my Iphone without fail.

My wife is a makeup artist who has been in this business for quite some time but since moving to Texas has had to build up her clientele all over again. She started seeing that many of her clients kept asking if she took credit as a method of payment. So she asked to get the square. It is easy to use and you can set it up so that you charge the customer a tax for the amount of the fee that square will take from you to swipe the card. So far no complaints great product.

Bought this for an organization I belong to, we host dinners once a month and some of the members wanted to use their cards so I finally got the Square. It was easy to set up, I had a question about some info I put in so I called their cust. service and got right in, my questions answered to my satisfaction and the young man was very pleasant. Next dinner is next Friday so we will see how it goes.

Works as it should. Very easy to set up with no programming in an app. Well made product that should last for years to come.
