With the addition of the Invoice by the Square Card Reader, it is an outstanding product and the best cost as far as percentage they charge, the information that is provided and now the flexibility with the Invoice. It is a MUST for every small business!

Posted .It's up to you - if your device does not have a built-in port, you can purchase an adapter that enables you to connect 3.5mm audio accessories. We can also recommend the Square Reader for contactless + chip as an alternative for connecting to both Android and iOS devices (https://squ.re/2x1hCmE).

You need a compatible device and the square app, as well as a square account. After I created an account it seems you can request a card reader for free via mail, so I’m not sure if you need to pick one of these up in a store unless you want it immediately.
