First Generation Chip was HORRIBLE!

Swiping is the.past, I bought the first. Simple set up and did the verification of accounts. First time I used it, the screen said that chip reader was broken! Took it back, and went simple with swiping cards and manual enter. Now I'm hesitant to try the next generation.

Prior to purchasing the square, I had to turn down business because I had no way to accept credit or debit cards. When I realized that it was affordable and easy to use I bought it.

The app has quirks but it also does the job. This is an excellent solution when you have a need to occasionally take credit cards. I would not recommend this for the business that takes cards every day.
