Bought these for a friend 2 years ago and they still work good as new, and for the price the sound and build quality is rather good and the mic is extremely good when using the SteelSeries dongle they include.

    Great Wired Headset For Gaming

I spent about 2 months deciding which gaming headset to purchase and after doing some research i decided to go with the Steelseries Arctis 3 wired gaming headset. The sound is very crisp and the maximum volume will defintely keep outside noise to a bare minimum while ensuring you hear footsteps, shots or anything distantly ambient that will enchance your gaming experience. This is defintely a good choice if you play games on multiple consoles as it is compatible with PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, VR, Android & IOS which was definitely a strong selling point for myself. The actual headset itself if very comfortable even after extended periods of use although it may not be the top of the line it’s definitely a great choice for anyone looking for a gaming headset under $100.

I was looking for a lighter and comfier headset for my ps4 and this i definitely it ! The sound is great as it offers a very clear sound. This is a neutral headset with very good bass response. For PS4 this headset is great since it packs 32 ohms and 98 for sensitivity. This means it runs well with the dualshock 4 while producing in my opinion great volume. If you are into story games, like The Last of Us where you want that movie sound feel without sound hoarding .... this is a great choice. In comparison to HyperX Alpha’s I prefer the Arctis for story games where clear sound is a must. The Alpha’s pay more attention to low’s and due to it’s high impedance, the volume can come out a bit dull. The Arctis pack more of a punch for a cinematic feel.

Had the Arctic6 and it broke after 2 years . Didn’t want to spend too much for a new headset due to budgetary constraints from the Covid-19 pandemic. Bought the 3 instead. Overall, the quality for the Arctic3 was surprisingly great. Sound is awesome and functions well as a noise cancelling headset. It fits nicely around my ear and the retractable mic is a bonus. Would buy again.

My MSI headset has been falling apart, so I was recommended this headset by a friend. I tried it on, and the headband design didn’t work very well with my head shape. Adjusting the headband didn’t help either, weirdly. The sound quality is good, slightly lacking bass and the top volume level is very quiet for me (even when my PC volume is at 100%) I like the retractable mic design, the mic quality is good, but I just ended up returning it and getting an external mic in compensation for my MSI headset mic giving up.

I have a Arctis 5 and now these that I got to have a back-up pair and to not have to keep swapping cables between computers. Standard features of a detachable cable, split cable, mic mute, volume knob, audio pass-thru and retractable microphone. I find these are very comfortable and I can wear them for a long time, like with the Arctis 5. While some things were done to reduce costs, quality wasn't compromised. While I don't think I'd mix music on them, they are fine for normal applications, including casual music and movies, gaming and video conference application.s

Decent wired gaming headset for the price. Build quality is mediocre, feeling rather cheap, but I liked the retractable microphone. Sound quality is great for PC thanks to extra customizable sound options through their software, but only good for consoles. The microphone was decent as well, with good recording quality. Comfort overall was good, since it didn't squeeze too hard on my massive head, but the earcups fit loose and you may lose sound quality if you wear glasses.

I picked up this headset because my son is getting into Fortnite on his Xbox One, and he wants to chat with his friends. We also have a laptop, PS4, and a recently acquired Switch. Since this headset works with all of those systems it is a great value. The headset itself has a good build quality, with comfortable earcups and headband. I like the retractable microphone - it can slide into the headset when not in use. I feel that is a better design choice than a detachable or fixed microphone. There is a volume dial and mic mute button on the left earcup for easy control. The headset also supports Windows Sonic, which is available on the Xbox One.

This was recommended from a player friend online, so I rolled the dice since these were my first stereo headset. The sound and chat is excellent. The retractable mic is a plus and once you balance out the game sound with the chat volume it’s great. Comfortable on the ears but a little top heavy on the bridge. I had to tilt the headset a little forward to help prevent it from tilting backwards, but other than that no problem so far. Recommended if you want a comparable quality and fair priced wired stereo headset. Try it!

The audio quality is fairly good and the cloth earmuffs are extremely comfortable. Could be a bit louder. But extremely long plug in cord, perfect retractable mic, and worth every penny.

I haven’t tried many headsets but this one gets the job done. The mic works great. They are pretty comfortable for long gaming sessions and don’t really bother me at all. I use them for the Xbox One only and the sound is okay. I feel like they could use more bass, and don’t get as loud as I would like them to at full volume. They are good at picking up all kinds of noises from all directions like footsteps in shooters. I got them on sale for $50 and don’t think I would recommend paying anymore for them.

I wanted comfortable cloth ear pads, good sound, and a good mic. To my surprise, the mic can retract back into the headset and I find that it works just fine with it all the way in and out of the way. I needed a headset for conference meetings on my PC and for general listening to videos and music. I can wear these for quite a while without any discomfort so I got everything I wanted and did not have to break the bank on one of the much more expensive headset models. Wonderful!

Bought it with a 10% discount which made it to excellent on price to value. The head phone is very comfortable to put on and it was made from good material. The mic is retractable which made it convenience to store when you do not need the mic. Sound quality is above expectation for the price. The unit can also turn flat which made it easy to carry around. Overall, very happy with the quality, sound, and the price.

These are replacement headphones over the TB Tecon 700 wired. I had to charge those and they were WIRED! These wired headphones are not amplified so no charging needed. The sound is crisp and clear. My favorite part is how light these headphones are! They feel and look high grade as well. The concealed mic is a cool touch and adjusting the volume is not cumbersome. Highly recommend for people who like to be comfortable while communicating during games.
