I been eyeballing this headset for a long time, I own the PS4 platinum headset and wanted to try something alittle different around the ears so the breathable ear cushions really surprised me of how comfortable they are and i don't have to worry about sweat. Sound quality is great and the retractable mic is awesome. I can plug it in directly to the PS4 controller and it works perfect. I'll definitely be upgrading this set to the wireless one in the future.

Nice fit around ears nice sound ,could have a little more volume ,never used headphones for gaming before ,headband on head makes them very comfortable ,would buy them again

I’ve had this headset for about a year and a half and they still work beautifully. Thinking about switching to a wireless Steel Series headset, only because I dislike having to remove my wired headset to stand up and stretch, but I will definitely still keep these around as they are great.

Sound quality is fantastic, especially when using the Microsoft Sonic Surround Sound. The cord is the perfect length to plug into your audio ports. I Wasn't sure what to make of the retractable mic until I went to eat something, then I was glad to have it. The band across the top of the headrest is perfect for marathon gaming sessions, and the material of the earcups is lightweight and breathable, eliminating swamp ear. If you google the Arctis 3 headphones, you may receive a return of BlueTooth; these are not Bluetooth capable. The only negative (and a real minor one, for me, at least) is the mic needs to be close to your mouth for you to be heard.

Wife even uses these on zoom, comfortable, can hear well, and mic is great!

Overall I believe this is a good entry level headset with an above average base price, but presents an excellent value when on sale. Things I liked about the headset: Lightweight and comfortable with ear pads that won't give you sweaty ears. Retractable mic, good clear sound, PC software to tweak settings. The mediocre: The ski goggle headband adjustment may not work for everyone. The bad: The headset cable has a proprietary end connecting to the headset so you'll want to take care of it as any replacement will most likely have to come from the manufacturer. I didn't have a good experience getting the mic to work reliably on the PC, but it may have just been my personal setup that was causing the issue.

I’ve tried a good number of headphones, and these have for the bull best. Three kids have them, and they haven’t broken. The retractable mic is strong and doesn’t fall apart. The earphone material doesn’t start flaking. The audio quality is really good. And they don’t weigh too much.

I have had these for 6 months. Never really could find a good pair of gaming headphones I really liked until these. They are super comfortable and soft around the ears. They are also really breathable and light. The sound quality is high tier but I seam to think most middle to high end headsets sound somewhat all similar. But I would never buy a different brand of headphones other than SteelSeries. I would suggest these headphone to anyone. You will not be disappointed I swear. Side note: if you have the extra money. Upgrade the the article 5 headset from SteelSeries. Similar to these, just feel a bit more cushiony on the head and feels like they are made a bit better in general. But again these are still very very nice for the money!

Loud, clear and comfortable for extended use. I particularly like how the mic boom is retractable, making it versatile enough to use with an MP3 player, as the sound reproduction and simple audio connection cable is great for multi purpose use. Overall, great buy.

After extensive research, I decided to go with these headphones for my son to use with his switch and apple devices. I love that they are compatible with pretty much any device. I love the way the microphone can be pushed back into the headset when not in use. The sound quality is great considering these were less than $100.

I typically have problems with over the ear headphones and would get a headache and nausea after several minutes of using one. However I was forced by the WFH situation to go for this type headphones with mic (small apartment with my kids around etc.). I purchased this with trepidation after reading a lot of reviews. I am happy to say after using this for a few days that I am not facing any major issues. I use it for meetings and the longest I used it was for 2 hours at a stretch due to back to back meetings. I did not have any discomfort other than a slight pain behind my jawbones after 30 mins which I could ignore. It helped a bit more after adjusting the strap. The foam is super-soft and comfortable. I have used it for music and meetings. The sound quality is excellent for the purposes I am using it but haven't tried it for any gaming yet. The mic does cut out ambient noise and others are able to hear me clearly. The only thing I wish this had was adjustable tension. It would be a great option to be able to tweak how much the frame bends and pushes against the head and adjust for different head sizes.

The headphone is very comfortable to wear. The item has very high quality sound. Great for gaming and listening to music. The retractable mic is perfect for when you’re using it when not a mic is not needed. The design is very slick and minimal.

Happy with these headphones for gaming and virtual meetings. The fit is comfortable and adjustable. I was worried about fit since I wear a rather large hat size, but fits well. Earcups are comfortable too. The mic is convenient and non-intrusive, and listeners hear me just fine. Sound quality is decent.

(Almost 4 Month Review) I bought this headset because a friend recommended it to me as being very comfortable and affordable.. he wasn't wrong! I have used this headset for many long gaming sessions on both my PS4 and PC, and have never once felt sore or fatigued. Sound and mic quality is good, no issues there!

Easily the most comfortable headset I’ve ever had. Just a step ahead of HyperX. Sound quality is solid. The retractable microphone seems nice. Better than the mic on the Kraken Pro V2. The removable cable and connection feels a little fragile. Overall well worth the price.

I currently own a PS5 a Series X and a Gaming Pc. This headset has insane value and quality. First off almost all of the surround sound features (Playstation 3D Audio), (Xbox Windows Sonic) sound absolutely amazing on this headset. The microphone is high quality and crystal clear, something you would expect on a $150 headset. I originally owned the pulse 3D and this headset blows it out of the water even on PS5! The value you get for this price range is unreal, even the comfort of the headset is super nice for long hours because of its low weight while holding a sturdy build quality feeling like a premium headset. You will not find a better headset in this price range.

I love how you can adjust this headset. You can hide the microphone, turn the ear muffs around, and adjust the strap for the whole headset fits on your head. It looks nice, the sound comes in great, and you can use it on the go. I sometimes go in public with this when I use my nintendo switch.

was looking for a mid tier gaming headset. This is a very comfortable pair with soft ear pads and adjustable head harness. The sound is very good. I really liked that I could push the mic into the ear piece when I wasn't using it, to get it out of the way. The cord is pretty long, burdensome in some cases.
