Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the excellent sound quality, comfortable fit, and long battery life of the Arctis 7P+ Wireless Gaming Headset. Many appreciate the convenient retractable microphone and its compatibility with multiple gaming platforms. However, some users experienced issues with the USB-C dongle and occasional connection problems. A few also noted that the volume control could be improved and that the bass response might not be sufficient for all users.

Amazing headset, sound is great for gaming. Microphone is super sensitive so you might have to adjust the sound threshold.

Excellent sound quality and was supstantially better than most headsets i have bought. My only issue is interference. I dont want to have to plug in a headset i just bought into my laptop to run diagnostic and update it. Should be easy to use not only last 6 months before having consistent wireless interference.

Great headset, very comfortable. Love the USB-C Quick Charging. Was able to wear this all day for work and then after hours for gaming. I would recommend upgrading to the Nova 7/7P/7X as they are lighter weight, longer battery, faster charging, and simultaneous bluetooth, but if you don't need those features these are great.

I read countless reviews online praising both the 7p and 7p+ headphones. Upon buying the 7p+, I was very underwhelmed by the audio quality. I have a pair of wireless Astro A50s (Gen 3) from 2016 and due to the ps5 removing the optical output i was looking for a replacement. Because of this, I decided to try out the 7p+ which is commonly at the top of lists for best headsets for the PS5. Out of the box listening to music honestly sounded bad. I didn't get them for music though, so no big deal. Turned on the PlayStation and wow, they still sounded quite bad. I was surprised. Did some homework and found out about their GG software that allows EQ customization. (Once I figured out how to work it, this GG software was FANTASTIC, much more convenient to use than the Astro software. Both get the job done though.) In addition I was prompted to complete a firmware update. After the firmware update the music sounded MUCH better. Unfortunately, gaming did not. I tried USB-C, USB-A, Aux. All sounded very bland on the PS5. I tried 10+ EQs (7p+ preset EQs differ from 7p and online consensus is that the 7p presets are better) I could NOT hear directional audio/footsteps well unless I EQ'd the headphones to the point where it sounded all around awful, but this did help with directional cues. The reason I want a headset is for directional audio but I won't sacrifice sound quality to the point where everything sounds terrible just to hear some footsteps. Disclaimer: I only tested on COD Vanguard, and the audio for the game is certainly the worst in the COD franchise in the 10+ years I've played it. Ironically, I was a little dissatisfied with the reduced quality of my old Astro A50s moving from PS4 to PS5, but after 5+ hours of using the 7p+, when I switched back to the Astros, I was thrilled by how much better they sounded. ($300 headset so they SHOULD sound better) If you take something away from this review, sound is relative. If you are switching from a pair of Apple Earbuds, I think the 7p+ could be a nice upgrade for you with some cool features. If you already have owned a high quality headset in the past and are thinking this will be some miracle 3D audio masterpiece, save your money. The audio is average at best.

These Bluetooth headphones are definitely top of the line in quality and sound. The crisp clear sounds and bass that these produce are unmatched against other headphones in the same price range. Very long battery life, quick recharge time, and easy connection to devices make these headphones the ones to buy.

Okay overall i have come down to many trials with headsets and the fit comfort and sound quality are almost perfect for the price. Mic quality excellent. Soundstage fairly balanced and warm mid tones and good highs with a backdrop of midbass. Almost is perfect .

Excellent audio with 3d enabled on ps5. Dongle is too large covers usb port. Volume wheel on the headset is a little jenky. All in all better than the astros and the ps5 pulse hands down. If you play competitive multiplayer, this is it.

This is a comfortable headset! It’s great for long gaming sessions. Battery life is good as well, didn’t need to charge it very often. Sound is great. Only downside is the price, but even then it’s still an awesome headset within the $160-$200 range.
