Great game to pick up and play for a bit here and there, the levels are pretty and can be a nice challenge.

Standard Mario game in that it starts pretty simple and gets more complicated as the game goes on, and is a lot of fun. Not so standard in that it's in 3D. I think the 3D really adds to the experience. 3D can be viewed in two ways in this game - "popping out" of the screen or "pushing into" the screen. I've finished the game and did everything there is to do but it's still fun to go back and replay some of the levels. Highly recommended for any Mario fan. I gave the storyline an average rating only because it's the typical Mario storyline with nothing really new. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Christmas for my nephew. With all the guns, nudeness, and not so kid firendly language associated with todays video games, lets just say they aren't the same as when I was a kid. Glad Mario is still family friendly and most of all chaild approved.

Great graphics and fun game for my 5 year old who has enjoyed it with no hassles

This was a bit hard without 3D on a 2DS. I recommend playing with a bit of 3D enabled. It has great mechanics and creative levels.

This is a great addition to the 3DS lineup. There is plenty to keep you occupied for hours. Great controls and awesome 3D effects.

I have been a Mario fan since the 8-Bit days and Super Mario 3D Land for the 3DS is a welcome addition. Not only do I enjoy the game but so does my three children aged 7 to 15. Family friendly game play at its best.
