The 3D effect on this game is really nice, of the best I've seen. The first levels are kind of easy but then then the 3D is really needed in some places. I wouldn't recommend this game for a 2DS since it does not have the 3D playing capability. I have both and was able to compare. If you want to play Mario on a 2DS, I would go with New Super Mario Bros. 2

Ah another mario game and yet another hit. It has the classic feel with a new feel at the same time. Mario fans new and old will enjoy this game.

This game plays and is as fun as the WiiU's Super Mario 3D World, as if they were developing them side by side. I got quite the deal on my copy this week, so you can imagine how happy I am that the game is way better than what I paid...ever had that happen? Not a casual thing these days...highly recommend this must own 3DS beauty.

If you have a 3DS system, this is a game you definitely should purchase. Its classic Mario with a twist. It is very similar to the Wii U version which is my only gripe.

As I no longer had any physical 3DS games for my first generation Purple 3DS, I decided to pick up Super Mario 3D Land again from Best Buy. I must say, playing Mario 3D Land again brings back memories of being in college. I consider this a classic now, and would recommend it to anyone picking up a 3DS in the latter of the 3DS console cycle.

I had fun learning to play this. I'm a Mario fan but not quite adept at the newer Mario games, so it took me some time to figure out how to navigate this. But I like it a lot!

Great game for any age, got this for my nephews bday and needed to get one for my niece since they both fight over it! Love it so much that I might have to get one for me too. Good graphics, good gameplay, some parts of the game are harder but all in all, its a good game to play.

This game is pretty fun overall. It's like a traditional 2D platformer in that you move from left to right through the stage, but it also involves moving up and down through the levels or from back to front. It makes pretty good use of the 3D effects of the 3DS. If you're looking for a 3D platformer like Super Mario 64, you might be better off picking up Super Mario 64 DS, the last-handheld-generation remake of the 64-bit classic. But if you want a modern take on the classic Super Mario action of games like Super Mario Bros.(NES) or Super Mario World (SNES), you'll find a lot to like here.

I'm not gonna lie this game is so addicting even tho is the portable version of super Mario 3D world and changed the name from world to land.. this Mario game is too fire. I love playing especially when I unlocked the other Characters and was able to play with them. Imagine super mario 64 meets 3D and meets handheld

I bought this for my eight year old daughter. She loves it. It is great to see her enjoying Mario Bros. just as I did at her age.
