It’s the best version of smash as far as multi player goes but it is lacking in the single payer department.

Spent many hours in front of the original Smash Bros when I was younger, now it's my son's turn to appreciate the majesty and insanity of this series! A crazy number of characters (74?) that are constantly unlockable through play (vs. the oh-so-common DLC of other publishers) and easy to pick up and learn. Occasional ridiculous saves by the computer can make it a little frustrating for younger kids but competitive play between friends is always a blast, and it's the way to go for most folks!

I bought for my son and he loves it. Although, he’s a beginner, he really enjoys playing.

This is a culmination of all the previous smash games. Highly recommended and a must have for any switch collection. Very simple fight mechanics but hard to master. I've personally put about 40 hours into the game.

This is the first Smash Bros. game I've ever owned and it has to be the best fighting game of all time. I've barely been able to put it down since I purchased it because it's so much fun. I love the Adventure mode.

The game is fun overall especially with friends with you in the room. Online play is limited and laggy at times. The game itself is great, fast paced and easy to pick up. A must-have for any Nintendo switch owners.

Love the game. It's what you would expect and Nintendo deliver with this one. Online mode is hype and works like a charm. Lately I think the Nintendo servers are a bit overwhelmed and lagging but fortunately this is not often. Adventure mode and unlocking the characters is fun, challenging and gripping. It's not a tedious grind and rather enjoyable system to it as well. Some features are a let down however I hope Nintendo will address. Such as local co-op to play versus friends local co-op.

Awesome addition to your switch library and possibly my favorite of the smash brothers series. Definitely would recommend it as it is one of the best switch games for solo or party play. The series never gets old!

Bought this for my son for Christmas. He likes it. Online it said it came with some souvenir coin but I ended up buying the game in store and they were all out. Luckily my son wasn’t that concerned about the coin.

I am very impressed with this game just for its single player mode. The most entertaining way to play a fighter, each battle feels very different from the next. I highly recommend this game in your switch library.

Great game to play with family/friends. It's easy to pick up and the campaign mode is fun too.

Fun game with an expansive roster (that you do have to pay for via DLC) but fun enough that kids and adults can play even if they've never played a games in years or lack high skill level.

Bought this for my kids and they play it every chance they get. They got the hang of it very quickly. Lots of variety in fighters so it's not gotten stale despite all the play the game has gotten.

If you like the Smash Bros series there is plenty to like here and the biggest negative is a lack of a mode to have all the characters unlocked automatically so you can more easily pick it up to play with friends.

Playing with friends is the highlight of the game. The story mode was a bit lacking, I preferred sub space emissary.

So much fun and much better than the last version I played on N64. You must play through the adventure mode to unlock most of the characters. This will keep you busy for hours.

Fantastic brawler with the most epic roster in fighting game history, representing dozens of game franchises never before seen on the screen and which likely never will be again.

If you own a switch, this game is a must have. If you're a fan of smash bros, this game is a must own. Enough said.

This game hits all points of nostalgia and fun. Even if you've never played a Nintendo game before you can still enjoy it, but if you have over 25 years of experience with Nintendo like I have it's a real treat!
