Legendary game worlds and fighters collide in the ultimate showdown - a new entry in the Super Smash Bros. series for the Nintendo Switch system
New fighters, such as Inkling from the Splatoon series and Ridley from the Metroid series, make their Super Smash Bros. series debut alongside
Super Smash Bros. fighter in the series: Fast combat , new items, new attacks, new defensive options, and more will keep the battle raging whether you're at home or on the go
I have only played Smash Bros maybe once or twice in all the years it's been around, but obviously, Owning a Switch and with it being the staple for Nintendo beat em ups, I had to pick this one up. I really shouldn't have to say this, but if you're looking at these reviews, you have already too much time without the game. If you're considering getting this for a loved one, stop now and go put it in your shopping cart. This is the best version of Smash Bros you will find. And again, if you own a Switch or know someone that does, they/you need this in your library. It has tons on modes. So many ways to unlock characters and so many things to keep you busy with or without friends around. You can take Smash with you anywhere. That's all that really needs to be said. Go get the game. You won't regret it. And while you're at it , pick up some them sweet Amibo.
Growing up, I never liked playing smash bros. I played here and there with friends sometimes but no one ever told me how to play! I would play like a traditional fighting game, when the objective is a little different.
I decided to get this Smash to see what the hype was about. This game came out over a year ago, and it still is my most played game. I have close to 1000 hours played (not just by myself lol), and I see myself continuing to play for a long time.
There are a bunch of characters, more available via DLC and maybe even more in the future.
If you have a switch and don't have this? GET IT!!!
This truly is the ULTIMATE Smash bros game. Over 70 characters, from every previous version have been reintroduced, plus new characters. That’s right, if you missed playing as Mewtwo on Melee, he’s back on Ultimate. And Pichu is way better. Cloud is the first Final Fantasy character introduced to this series, and playing as him is awesome! Some of my other favorites from previous games are here as well: Ness, Lucas, Villager, Megaman, and many Pokémon and Fire Emblem characters. Easy to play local with friends on the go or on the big screen. Online play is blast too. Smooth with no lag.
I am Masahiro Sakur-Buy, expert of the Super Smash Bros. series at Best Buy. After taking thoughts into consideration, I am proud to inform you Everyone Is Here. Smash Bros spans across multiple decades, and the vision for this Smash Bros was to include every fighter from past entries in the series. It truly will make everyone at Best Buy happy, as well as each and every single fan. Please, enjoy the game, as well as Geek Squad services.

A:AnswerThe game is playable on the switch lite! The only feature unavailable is the use of multiplayer on one console, but multiplayer is still available through online play. It works just as well on the switch lite and has been a great experience on my part!
A:AnswerThe physical copy, you must carry the game cartridge everywhere you want to play it. If your granddaughter loses the cartridge, there is no replacement and the game is lost forever.
For the digital copy, she has to have a Nintendo account set up. (Parents/Guardians can set up a child account that prohibits online purchases) but the game is stored in the cloud digitally. As long as she has access to the account via username and password, she will always have the game.
That's the only difference, a physical copy vs a digital copy. They are both the same game.
A:AnswerWaluigi is actually very unpopular in Japan. Many people don't even like him. As a result, the creator, Sakurai, propbably won't include him as a fighter. After all, his first priority are people in Japan rather than America.
A:AnswerOn the cartridge, its information is 3.1 GB and I have one DLC on my game for reference. As for fully digital, the Nintendo eShop says the game requires 16.6 GB of free space on the system. Hope this helps!!
