The game has an expansive collection of characters spanning from all the previous smash games and includes some additional downloadable content at a cost for more characters.

I am 500+ hours into this game and still going. Whether you're looking for a party game to play with your friends or a game to spend hours upon hours perfecting advanced techniques to take on really tough opponents in an online competitive mode..I highly recommend this game.

It's polished, the game-play is addicting, easy to learn, and fun for the whole family. Per Nintendo quota, the online is matches leave something to be desired with lag. It either works beautifully or nearly unplayable. Overall, its not enough to stop the 5 star rating.

Its fun and so nice but even it is good for two player, it just like only one player played.i taught its luigi and mario but it just mario and the hat.

Huge upgrade over the Wii u version. Online play runs a little smoother. Single player is not as boring as the Wii u version either. A fleshed out single player mode that incorporates all the big characters would make this one of the best fighting games ever.

Tons of fun to play with family and friends. Will be purchasing for a friend.

This is classic smash brothers with a whole bunch of additional levels. I don't know how different I expected it to be from what I played on the Wii but it isn't that much different.

Bought it for my son. I really am impressed with the game. I wasn't expecting to like it that much when I played it with him but we both were into it.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is definitely the best entry in the series, and it's super convenient having such a powerful game in the portable switch.

If you like Street Fighter with all the Nintendo Characters and Locations, then this is for you. I was hoping for at least a bit of story to go along with it, but ultimately...no. Just fighting.

The game is great, classic smash bros, but online multiplayer is lacking. Wish you were able to play with multiple friends online like you can on a local battle

Game's pretty solid but the poor online performance and lackluster single player functionality significantly decrease enjoyment. Probably one of the better games in the series despite that.

really fun game and great for nostalgic game playing. New and Old characters. Great to play against people too online or with friends nearby.

Got this as a birthday present for my girlfriends kid and he loves it. Brings back memories when I used to play it as a kid so we both win.

Let me start off by saying I haven’t played any previous version of this game. So there was a little learning curve due to the UI. But I’ve had it for about a month now and have found different game modes and such. Usually play 2v2. Lots of fun!

Personally it's not my favorite iteration of Smash, but it's acceptably decent, runs well on the Switch, and works well with the platform.

If your a fan of dueling with all out gaming characters then thos is for you. DLC even contains newer characters like Sora from KH

My son loves this game he plays it nonstop I actually have to tell him to stop playing it sometimes he already beat the game a few times

We are probably in the minority as this game highly recommended. Game is a fighting game and not in the old Mario theme we were expecting.
