Get ready for hours of fun.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely fun to play. It's almost a must have if you get a switch or switch lite. Controls are a little confusing to begin with, but once you get them down, you're good to go. You can play locally by yourself or with other people using the Joycons (and buying more Joycons separately if you want to play with more than 2 people), or you can play online if you get Nintendo Switch Online (for like $20 a year). Altogether, you should get this game!

So Much Fun!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Smash Bros. is usually a must own for any Nintendo system. Ultimate is no different. It is always fun to play with friends and now you have access to every Smash character! The menu layout and function of the spirits and how you can stack them is a little confusing to me but I suppose as you play you can figure it out. Game looks brilliant and there are so many stages, it could take hours before playing the same stage twice. If you have a Switch, this is a MUST buy!

Family fun!—for ages 6 -42
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was about to buy Super Mario Bros when my son said this game was better. (He had played it at a cousin’s house.) Quickly, I checked online reviews and ratings confirmed it. We’ve had Smash Bros for a month and like Mario Kart Deluxe it hasn’t gotten old. Not boring especially with more players. Also, still gaining new characters with the challenges. We use it as part of game night on the weekend. Good fun!

New to the series but enjoying it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll admit that I'm pretty new to this series. Only played the one on the gamecube a handful a times but that's about it. I can't really compare to anything previous but I am enjoying this one and it's quite fun. Still figuring out the strategy (other than button mashing lol) to it but I can't really complain about anything about the game itself. It's cool seeing all the characters and stages they've crammed into the game. Graphics and game play is good as well.

No brainer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s everything I have dreamed of. Plays like the original, plus the added features of the sequels and then some. Every fighter is at your disposal, but it makes you earn them in a challenging but not too difficult manner(s). Highly customizable via a very in-depth yet optional spirit function. It’s pretty heavy on characters from games you can tell Nintendo is trying to push, and the amount of spirits is wildly unnecessary, but hey: don’t use em and/or sell them.

Great Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this game has all the characters every single character that has been in the smash Bros series that have joined just for one installment is in this game. you can still create your Mii characters there is a training mode. all the music is there, every stage that has been in every smash Bros is there. that being said there are a couple of things that people might be missing, for one thing there is no target practice, break the targets, there is no land on the platform, there is no home-run contest. there's little-to-no story, story mode, was, I would say "hey" a nostalgia coaster of old characters you've seen from old installments but they're just stickers that don't add anything to the story they're just there, you don't see any actions between characters. if you seen the opening video where Kirby survives you basically seen 95% of all the videos and the game. it's it's underwhelming. the story... it's pretty bad. for some reason the Wii smash Bros added a very good story there was lots of interactions between the characters but after that installment they've never went back to that concept ever again. it's a shame too, because seeing the characters mingle with each other was a fun thing to watch. if you plan to go online on line is either hit or miss be sure to have a wired connection because I have a wired connection it and it runs well and I've only seen a few hiccups but I'm guessing that's because maybe the other side was running off Wi-Fi I don't know I just a guess. the new sticker mechanic is nothing special hand sticker mode is kind of boring. story 2 out of 10, fighting 9 out of 10, features 3 out of 10, music 10 out of 10, overall 6 out of 10. bottom line bring back story mode, an actual story like the Wii did.

Must buy Switch game
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t know how you go back to any previous Smash games. This is basically the ultimate edition. It has everything as far as stages and characters. You can make your own too. It’s the perfect game to play multiplayer with too. Lots of single player content as well.

Just wonderful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a wonderful experience. I'm terrible at competitive games, but there is so much to see and do in this game that it is a rich and complete experience regardless. Although I miss the exploration of modes like Smash Run on the 3ds, the breadth of content in World of Light mostly makes up for the omission. Love Spirits and all the goofy randomness that ensues in a battle. One of the top games on Switch, for sure....one of the top games of the last 5 years.

Jam Packed Super Smash Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super Smash Bros Ultimate is jam packed with content from the ridiculous number of characters (every character from a previous game and more) to the hundreds of levels. To cap it off they incorporated a new spirit mode, which includes a story line and various challenges. Additionally, classic mode is back for each character. I've been thoroughly enjoying this game and can't think of any reason to give it less than 5 stars. Go out and buy it, it's well worth it!

Perspective on Super Smash Bros Ultimate
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this game, it brings back memories to the smash bros I played on the Game Cube. It simply looks great and plays well, I love all the different characters and I believe the online features for many Nintendo games (not just this one) saves the actual games from becoming stale. No one wants to just play the CPU’s, definitely enjoy my time playing against other players

Amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game and so many options! Graphics are amazing! Only downers are I prefer Zelda’s Twilight Princess look instead of her new BotW look(wish they had both options instead of just a re-color of her Twilight look ) . Also, the 25$ season pass is a bit much for 5 characters. However, it’s still a must-own game on the switch if you wanna have some super smashing fun with friends or family. The game has the most stages and characters to date! Love it!

Huge Game, Something for Everyone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game has a massive single player RPG-like game, with an absurd number of playable and non-playable characters to discover. You can play the standard fighting modes, of course, too. Characters are unlockable by playing any modes. Know that you may not be able to play as your favorite character for awhile, since unlocks seem to be random and relatively slow to occur. It's a great value if you like any kind of competitive games or Nintendo franchises.

The best Multiplayer available for any platform
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Same Screen multiplayer games are increasingly rare nowadays, but this one is likely to change that and create dozens of copies. Dozens of characters to choose from plus expandability with amiibo keeps it fresh - it’s one of those that fit into the “easy to learn, hard to master” categories, but yet retains the ability for those with less experience to compete using more powerful characters. Love it!

Great and Entertaining
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this game for my son. Its is great and fun to play with him. It is something that everyone can play as a family since up to eight players can play. Game is a little challenging to figure out regarding what the buttons do. Overall, great game for everyone to play.

A Must Have
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Smash has been a staple of Nintendo consoles since N64. This one is no different and the biggest Smash yet. All the characters, all the stages, all the items plus new ones of course, all in one Ultimate package. This game is right up with Mario Kart as Nintendo's best party games while still being fun by yourself. It's one of them games that most everyone will enjoy messing around with. A must have unless you are sure you have no interest in it.
