I didn't buy this game expecting much. Just picked it up based off nostalgia. There's an extensive story mode. Online play. 65 characters. Almost all the characters play different. Graphics are amazing on TV and handheld mode. I highly recommend this addicting game.

This a must have for anyone who has a Switch. The characters are a bit difficult to unlock but that forces you to play the game more and learn more about it and get better. It's is a great party game as well as a good competitive game. I have a lot of fun playing it.

Smash Bros. Ultimate arrives on Switch with 74 fighters, new game modes and the adventure mode World of Light. The amount of content in this game is huge. There are so many franchises represented in this game. Smash Bros. is a must own game in any Switch collection.

All the way back from the N64 days this brings back so much memories. Such a great game and so many different choices to play from (as you play through the game of course)

This Nintendo Switch Game is so much fun and somewhat challenging especially for the beginner. It gives you the option to fight with tons of different characters and tons of different scenes. No two fights are the same!

    Great Fighting OR Party Game

I played a little bit of the previous titles but always ended up ditching them because of overly-competitive friends and Online. This time around I decided to give it another go since Super Smash Bros Ultimate includes a lengthy Single Player campaign where you unlock Spirits to level up and use. While I haven't dipped too much into Multiplayer there is a TON of Single Player content to keep you occupied for 60+ Hours. If you have ever played a Smash Bros game before you know what to expect. The only minor problem is the state of Nintendo's Online Service... There can be a lot of lag Online (especially if you play a 4 Player Free For All) so a Lan Adapter would be recommended for Online. Last little note is that I would recommend getting the Gamecube controller adapter and a Gamecube Controller with it. While it's not mandatory to play the game I feel like it's definitely the best way to play.

The best smash game yet. Plenty of characters, new levels, and smooth gameplay. The online setup is simple, which has its pros and cons. I def recommend using a lan adapter to avoid any lag in online play.

This is a fun game but there are issues with it. The online is so clunky and slow it is almost not worth playing. You can’t disconnect and find a new game until the one you’re in is completely over. Many characters feel repetitive and are basically just there for aesthetic effect. The controls are a bit drab too with the input lag often causing a wasted move in the wrong direction or missing an important grab. After all those issues and more, the game is still exciting especially when played with others and is certainly worth a buy (at a discounted price preferably).

There is so much to do in this game. Classic or Spirit, you'll be able to explore many versions of combat with so many character fighting styles. I am new to the series, but I remember playing on the N64 almost 20 years ago. Big fun back then and bigger fun now!

Alrighty, time to spill the beans on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch. So, first off, gotta admit, my son wasn't too keen on it at first. But I told him to stick with it, and lo and behold, he's hooked now. Kid can't get enough of it. One thing I really dig about this game is how easy it is to just stop playing whenever. There's no need to worry about hitting a checkpoint or losing progress. Just hit pause, and you're good to go. Makes life a whole lot simpler, let me tell ya. But here's the kicker: my girls? Yeah, they're not feelin' it. Tried to get 'em into it, but no dice. Hey, can't win 'em all, right? Overall, though, it's a solid addition to the game collection. Keeps the boy entertained for hours on end, and that's worth its weight in gold.

Never been a Smash Bros player. I played it when it debuted on the N64 & I couldn't get into it. Mainly because I sucked. I can admit it. I bought all the sequels just to collect them. Never opened them. This is my first time playing a Smash Bros game since that time. Thoroughly enjoying it. Glad you don't have to jump through hoops to unlock the other fighters. Dabbled in the World of Light. It's okay. I haven't got the urge to keep playing it though. I really like the Spirit Board & collecting as many as I can. Close too 800 right now. I tried Classic. Plan on hitting that more when I finally finish WoL. I like the challenges offered to unlock images. There is so much provided for the single player experience that you forget the real bread and butter is the multiplayer. So far I've played a 6-player battle. The madness, oh the delicious madness. So good and fun. Good job Nintendo.

I'm a casual Smash player, but I think this game has enough characters and game modes for any type of player, whether you're hardcore competitive or just messing around against easy COM opponents. It really is the ultimate version of Smash Bros.

It could be must have Nintendo Switch game specially for multiplayer. I have total of 6 controller (4 Pro con, PS4 Dualshock with 8bitdo adapter, and Joycon) for whole my family and we are having fun. It is easy to learn to play even 5 year old kid could play.

What more can be said? This game is fantastic in every way. Great graphics & presentation. The Adventure mode is not deep story wise, but overs 20+ hours of gameplay time. Huge cast of characters. Online support is spotty as of now, but will hopefully improve.
