Amazing game! Smash has never looked this beautiful, or run this smoothly before. The small starting roster quickly expands and unlocks at a good clip. Additional fighters unlock based on both number of matches played and by "awakening" them in the story mode, of which each match in story mode also counts towards the match number unlocks,. The ability to play this anywhere makes it all the better!

This game has so many characters, modes, and options. It's a great multiplayer game.

I love super smash years ago, and this version is even more fun! Highly recommended!

Game is better than anticipated. My son loves the game and the new characters added.

Nothing is better than breaking out Smash Bros Ultimate on a holiday and playing with my nephews. The switch is portable, so it is easy to do. This is a must buy for any switch owner. The barrier to entry is low enough that you can get into this game even if you have never played it before. The one caveat is that it can be chaotic when there are 8 players at once.

The game was a huge success for Christmas. I preordered and it was delivered on 12/7 on the day it came out. Because it is a switch game, each child wanted their own copy so we ended up buying 3 of them. There really should be a way to share these games but that is more of a commentary on the platform vs. the game itself. Reviews from the kids are through the roof. They absolutely love this game.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has it all! With 74 characters in total and a huge selection of stages there are so many possibilities for match-ups. This game is great to play solo or with friends! Classic Mode and the World of Light adventure mode are great options to play alone. You can play for 15 minutes or 4 hours - either way you will have fun. Playing online with friends is also quick and easy.

Smash bros was never so good. All the crazy characters and attacks combined with the items and different maps makes for an exhilarating time. I will admit that online play is sometimes annoying but it's not a major issue. A must have for the switch.

If you liked Smash Bros. for Wii U you will like this. It looks a little better, plays a little faster and hits a little harder. No doubt someone smarter than me will find a cheap move somewhere but I don't ever feel like I don't have a chance so I think they did a better job balancing it this time around. And most importantly it is fun! This will probably be considered a must have for the Switch.

Really fun switch game. Tons of content and lots of characters to play as.

To me, Nintendo usually finds a way to mess something up by charging for extras, or over charging proprietary things. but this game seems to be pretty perfect. Unlike other games at $60 you get a full game here. there is a bit of a grind to get all the characters but you seem to get a full game here. Also don't forget you will need to pay for Nintendos online service to play online matches now.

the best game so far for switch and nintendo, great gameplay and fun for all players

I bought this for my son’s birthday and he loves it. He has been playing it nonstop. I would highly recommend this game for Nintendo fans of all ages.

It's got so many characters to choose from,from franchises both Nintendo and third-party. And you can get even more characters by purchasing online. The adventure mode is fun,too. The only problem is that you can only do online battles if you're somewhere where there is a strong internet connection. Otherwise you could get cut off in the middle of the battle.

What can I say about this game that everyone doesn’t already know? Just a Superb game! I’ve had every Smash Bros since the very first one, on the Nintendo 64. And they just keep getting better and better. Such a fun game! I just wish the online mode could connect at least 2 players on the same console. But other than that, a perfect game!
