I have never really gotten into a Smash game before, but thought I would try this one out since it is a 'Greatest Hits' version of the entire franchise and I am glad I did. There is over 70 characters to unlock and over 100 stages, plus tons of other goodies! I really enjoyed how they handled the unlocking of the characters through playing matches and the single player World of Light mode, which is very lengthy and addicting in its own right. Very fun overall with plenty of Videogame and Nintendo fanfare and nostalgia for fans of numerous franchises and genres!

Top tier gaming experience. Price might be $60, but it's worth more then that in my opinion. Gameplay might not be be as good as Super Smash Bros Melee, but as of now, this is the closest it's ever been to toping it. The roster and game modes push it to the top in my opinion. The only issue is the online, but that's more of an issue with the Nintendo Online Servers. One on One fights on simple stages will be fine online, but anything more then that could start to be problematic

If you have a switch. This is definitely a must have. I purchased it with all the dlc and even thought it was pricey, its well worth it. I recommend playing with the pro controller though. Cant wait for the next one or to at least play this soon on a switch 2

There isn't a Smash game I've played that I haven't enjoyed. I don't clock in as many hours on this one as I have on previous installments, but that's more because of my lifestyle changes than any fault of the game. My siblings and I all adore this title and have so much fun shouting at each other when things get intense. As usual, the more people you have playing Smash, the better the experience will be. Forge new friendships and put other ones in the grave when you renege on your alliances and come out on top!

Only got a switch recently, but been wanting this game every since it first came out. I’m a newcomer to the Smash Bro Series as well as this type of fighting game, but having great fun nonetheless! The skill floor is low, but there’s a high skill cap and a lot of room for skill expression if you’re into that. Single-play stuff is great fun if you have no online, but online is this games true bread and butter. Love my Mythra/Pyra DLC! Great game.

My 6 year old really enjoyed playing this game. However, it was difficult to beat your opponent. Didn't matter how well you thought you did, you were never the winner. This is based off of playing the game only 2 times. Time will tell if experience changes your chances of beating your opponent.

After Smash Bros for Wii U came out, I wondered how they would ever be able to top it as far as content goes. Then they announced Ultimate, showed "Everyone is here!", and I stopped wondering. The character, stage, music, and customization options in this game are insane. The idea of battling with Nintendo's biggest names that was so mind-blowing in the original game 20 years ago has been expanded to include the biggest names in all of gaming. This game may be the biggest crossover event of all time from a straight quantity aspect. Thankfully the quantity is matched by the quality. If you've played Smash for years, you will recognize all the tweaks they have made to balance characters and the game engine. It plays completely different from previous games in the series and nearly all those changes were for the better. If you have never played Smash before, the game remains extremely accessible despite all the changes made to appease high-end players. Add in the return of a decent adventure mode and the game is a blast whether it be with one, two, or eight players. This game is amazing and might be the easiest recommendation I can make on the Switch. Mr. Sakurai and his team have truly made the Ultimate Smash Bros game and I will never ask him for anything ever again.

My wife and I borrowed this from our brother and sister in law, and fell in love. Had to get a copy for ourselves! Massive replay value.

I love this game, have heard alot of negative space about the online lags. The local play though, is excellent, and characters are awesome.

I have been a fan of the Smash Brothers series ever since it came out on N64 many years ago. Ultimate does not disappoint. With an impressive array of fighters available (over 70+, with more coming out over the course of the next several months) , over 100+ stages, this is almost a love letter to the series. This game includes all of the characters that appeared up until Brawl on the Wii U, and includes several new faces. If you are a fan of Smash Bros, this is the one to get, and well worth buying a Switch to play.

I love this game. I play it all the time with my friends. Definitely one of my best purchases.

IF you grew up playing the old games you’ll love it

This game packs in a ton of fun along with severe strategy. I do find it difficult at times with controls but it’s welllworth it

This is a SUPER game with a SMASHING lineup of great characters. Especially those mario BROS. This is the ULTIMATE battle royale.

I've had the game for a full week and have pit in 70 hours into the game. I think I'm qualified to give my take on this extraordinary game. With the slogan "Everyone is here" they very well meant it. Every fighter is in it as well as new faces and upcoming DLC that I will talk about in a bit. This is arguably the best in the series and certainly the best looking. The graphics are great and there's no lag issue. Loading times are up to 3 seconds and you're smack dab into a free for all trying to smash your friends onto oblivion. With over 100 stages I find it hard to believe anyone would find them stale. Every character is represented with its own stage as well as music. There are over 800 tracks from all the characters franchises and you can even make a playlist for yourself. Menu looks sleak and clean unlike previous entries. There is an adventure mode where you can pour 20-60 hors in alone and will have you chasing for spirits that enhance your character. With over 70 characters you'll get your money's worth and if you buy it now until January 31st you'll get piranha plant which will be DLC later on.I know we frown upon DLC bit the game feels amazing without it. The DLC is a nice bonus and I know I'll be picking up the Fighters Pass that comes with all the characters. All upcoming DLC characters will come with a stage and soundtrack(s). In this crossover of characters there's no way you'll have buyers remorse. I wish I could give a higher rating for such a well crafted game.

This game speaks for itself, it has everyone from the previous smash titles and some more. The gameplay is fast and smooth. 10/10

I was curious to try this fighting game since there mo other games that are available for switch. This game is very entertaining and try different characters to know what moves are good and what to use to fight against the enemy. Being playing this game for at least 3 months.
