I got this for my son for Christmas. He's been having a blast playing it. In fact, both my sons, and my daughter have been enjoying it. Not overly violent like most fighters, so it's great for younger kids to get a little beat 'em up time without all the blood and stuff.

I love that this game can have so many players. There are 5 people in my family and we couldn’t all play together with the other games we own but can with this one. Super fun and love seeing all the different characters!

Super smash brother ultimate is the a must buy game for the year. It contains tons of contents, 74 fighters, almost 800 BGMs which you can create you own playlist on, story/spirit collection mode. there is really nothing to complain about and I enjoy this game very much.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my son. He plays it all the time. He loves all the different components the game offers. I was skeptical about buying it because it was expensive but he love it and I have definitely got my money’s worth.

A highly addictive game in a good way. For someone new to the game, the start menu and setup is a bit confusing. Had to research tips online. After getting through that, all family and friends that play this game love it. It’s so much fun unlocking new characters too!

Nintendo knock this Smash Bros. out of the park!

When it comes to Super Smash Bros. fighting games, the benchmark is the GameCube version: Super Smash Bros. Melee. It's superior graphic of it's time, overall look, feel, and functionality, and most importantly, the perfectly comfortable GameCube controller made for the best overall experience. Nintendo established that Melee was the best with their "flop" of a Super Smash Bros. installment with "Brawl." The speed was seemingly too slow, and there just wasn't that magic that Melee, an OLDER generation game still provided. Then came Ultimate. Nintendo seemed to finally outdo themselves by capturing the chaos of Melee by matching it speed, adding an absurd amount of levels (all unlocked right away) and a plethora of characters that interact with each other in very specific and unique ways. Having SO many options can be overwhelming, but makes finding your "main" feel like much more of a journey.

I played a little bit of the previous titles but always ended up ditching them because of overly-competitive friends and Online. This time around I decided to give it another go since Super Smash Bros Ultimate includes a lengthy Single Player campaign where you unlock Spirits to level up and use. While I haven't dipped too much into Multiplayer there is a TON of Single Player content to keep you occupied for 60+ Hours. If you have ever played a Smash Bros game before you know what to expect. The only minor problem is the state of Nintendo's Online Service... There can be a lot of lag Online (especially if you play a 4 Player Free For All) so a Lan Adapter would be recommended for Online. Last little note is that I would recommend getting the Gamecube controller adapter and a Gamecube Controller with it. While it's not mandatory to play the game I feel like it's definitely the best way to play.

As someone with terrible internet I always worry about multiplayer games since I can’t always have friends over to play, but this game really delivers wonderful single player content. It is also fun with friends but I suggest not doing single joy cons for this one.

I havent owned a smash bros game since the N64 era. I feel like ive missed out learning the mechanics because i was never really good vs friends in melee or brawl etc. The Switch version definitely has bang for your buck, with the biggest roster of players, games types, and even versatility to play with friends. I hooked up 4 additional gamecube controllers on top of 2 switch basic ones, and lemme tell you, 6 Marines during our off time barking at each other while more await their turn made for some intense and fun nights. Playing with family, one buddy, or even solo is good too. I mos def recommend this game for all.

Not much to say other than: everyone else has this game and you'll need it if you want to stay in touch with friends that have the switch. Be sure to download the Nintendo Online app so that you can chat with friends.

    The Ultimate Experience

For fans new and old, smash brothers returns at it's best, boasting a large roster that includes every previous member fighter from the series inception, as well as a few new comers, with more on the horizon. With an expanse single player experience including a classic arcade style mode, and a light story more that is essentially a challenge mode with a huge amount of collectables. Multiplayer is as fun as it ever was, with problems mostly stemming from connectivity issues that will hopefully be resolved soon. Gameplay is fast, controls are reliably reactive, and the game itself is addictively fun. Not a whole lot of new content added or changes made, however, what has been changed, while small in detail, are truly welcome for any experienced player, the changes being quality of life in nature that truly feel as an enhancement. This is a must buy for any switch owner, hardcore or casual.

Purchased this game as gift for my 10 year old nephew after he played it with my daughter. He loves the game. So easy to buy. Purchased on line to verify it was in stock before I headed to the store. Within 30 minutes they had it ready for store pickup.
