I bought this for nieces and nephews for Christmas: they all loved it. They were a o excited when they opened it and even more so when they played.

It’s difficult to imagine the type of gamer for whom Smash Ultimate has no appeal. This is a big game, and with the fat skimmed off, a remarkable one. Its core attraction—fighting on a platform—is as polished and brilliant and sharp as ever, its fighters the most unique and deep. Sure, Smash Ultimate is herding Nintendo fans all under one roof, tempting them alike with that top-notch gameplay and with nostalgia in many forms. It’s like opening up presents on Christmas and getting all the stuff you asked for, but also socks and a few silly stocking-stuffers from your weird aunt. Fortunately, you can just ignore whatever you don’t love and play what you do.

Preordered as a Christmas gift.easy online preorder and notification the morning the game came out. Easy pick up process. As it is a Christmas gift I am not sure about the game content.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift, so I haven’t used it yet. But my daughter has been talking about it non-stop since November. I can’t wait to see her little face when she opens it!

Never get enough of nostalgic characters and new ones to boot with remakes of original soundtracks and new maps and modes this game has enough playtime for years to come

From the very first super smash bros to this recent release , the competition is always fun between family and friends . Makes a great party activity for the kids and even grown folk !

This is a magnificent title that oozes “Nintendo.” I would even say this is the must have and definitive title on the Switch. It has everything any fan of Nintendo or fighting games could want. I am amazed at how much content there is… and if it’s still not enough after unlocking everything, there’s all the downloadable characters and levels to add to an already enormous game. Highly recommended.

I've had this game about 6 months and I can tell you it's going to stay in your collection. It's addicting and every time we have people over it's one of those go to party games.

Teenage son got for gift when got his new switch device. Had played previously on another format and always enjoyed it and was looking forward to having it for his switch.

I was never a huge fan of the Smash Bros series. I bought I for the Wii U and thought it was decent. Just seemed like it was missing something. I debated buying this version for awhile as my friend bought it the first day it came out. We played the Spirit Board and had a blast passing the controller back and forth as we traversed the map. I was hesitant but I finally decided to purchase the game for myself. Am I glad I did. Playing at my friends house only gave me a taste of all the options this game has. This game is chock full of things to do. Mini games, spirit board, spirit challenges, etc etc etc. Back to the game...

Love this game! One of the best games ever! Lots of fun!

We’ve had the game for a couple of weeks now and are having fun learning all the players moves. You can get new players through challenges or adding downloadable content (this does cost extra). Only drawback as if right now are that at times the platform can seem a little too zoomed out and that you have to pay an extra $30 for additional content, essentially making this a $90 game.
