I have played this series of games for gamecube and the WII. Although I have never played it on the WII U and the 3ds, it is still and great that gets better everytime a new one comes out with new characters and place settings. Wonder how the next one will be.

At first I was skeptical that it would be similar to smash 4 with more characters but then after playing a tourney at a friends house I can see that there is a level of skilled play and after playing it though roughly I can say it’s the best game since melee.

As the name says, this is the ultimate version of Smash Bros. This version of the game brings back every character and almost every stage. The new characters they brought in are just perfect and the dlc characters are sure to bring the game to another level.

Kids LOVE this game (7 and 9) almost every night they ask to play as a family. It's also fun for them to unlock new characters and create their own battlefields. A good family game as well as fun for individual play.

The game focuses on bringing back all the same great features of its predecessors while simply enhancing character selection, map options and graphics. I only use it for the multiplayer and it is a great way to get all my brothers involved in the same game.

This game is everything I wanted. I have multiple hours of playing this game and I have so much to unlock. The different game modes are awesome and challenging. Truly is the ultimate game to have! If you love smash bros you'll love this game, no doubt about it

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is one of the best games of the year, that just keeps getting better with each entry except for Brawl which I found to be a little underwhelming compared to Melee. The game features 70+ characters to choose from although when you first turn it one, you only start off with the original 8 characters from the original Smash Bros on N64. I wasn't gonna get the fight pass, but I changed my mind once they announced that Joker from Persona 5 is gonna be a DLC character, nobody saw that coming and it was the biggest surprise at the game awards!

Smash Ultimate is definitely the ultimate super smash bros game with over 70 characters, tons of stages, and lots more. It plays faster than Smash Bros for Wii U and I already like it better. Looks and plays great, and it's fun to play with friends or online.

This game is perfect for the occasional group of friends or just to play on your own.

We've been having so much fun playing this game and unlocking all the characters. We have a family of different age groups and everyone has enjoyed. We are looking forward to the DLC being released with even more content. Bottom line,I would buy it again!

Great fun for family but as well as online competition. My squad settle our differences with this game lol.

A game like this doesn't need a review. If you have played since the N64 days, you know what this game is about. Each version has only gotten better and better and the Switch version just tops them all. If you're new to smash, just buy it and join the fray!

Couldn't get over how much joy this game brought to my grandsons. Normally there is some arguing when the 2 boys are playing their game. From the start of the game the 2 boys were giggling and cheering. Definitely a hit!

This feels like the most complete, fully realized Smash Bros. game yet. An impossibly large roster of characters for all types, a enormous amount of stages available, and a single player campaign as long as any other AAA title. Definitely worth the purchase.

While I do miss some of the features from previous games such as the Gamecube, they still outdid themselves with cast and wildly addicting gameplay. Lots of great new features that make this enjoyable as a single player game as well!

My boys absolutely love playing this game. We even play it as a family game night.

it is Smash bros, if you are a gamer that has a Friend of any kind, or plays online. you just have to own this. Nintendo did cheep out though because they don't have dedicated servers for this game, you will play online matches that have lag.

My son had a tiny bit of trouble figuring out the controls, which is expected (he’s 10...plays a lot of video games), but after that he loved it.

This game is pretty great. Lots of characters to unlock. Lots of trophies to unlocks. The single player experience is great and multi-player is alway a blast. So far online is a little slow, so hopefully Nintendo picks that up. Must buy for any Switch owner.

This franchise has always been one of my favorites. This one keeps the tradition alive and is the best one I've played since the old game cube release. Can put endless hours into this game for all the unlocks and game modes!
