The kids love it! I have played it once and I was beaten so bad by my 10 year old that I haven't played it since. Ha!

I buy many gifts for my family for the holidays and after all the gifts were opened this game was played by them for hours. I myself do not play these games but watch them have so much fun was my present. Besides the 60" 4K TV they gave me. :p

I used to play this on GameCube, and this has been so much fun to get back into! I love earning all the characters And playing with my family!

This is my favorite game to play with my friends. We all come over and get so excited, brawling it out on the switch. I’m not a fan of the campaign, and same goes for the poor switch online services. But overall, a must for the switch.

This game is everything, in the best and worst way possible, haha. Multiplayer Smash is still as awesome as it has always been. This game is perfect for parties, groups, etc. A bit daunting for me since I've gotten older and aren't willing to spend countless hours grinding away to unlock everything. I have not tried the new Kingdom of Light story mode, but the Classic story mode is still fine for me. I think the game has a ton of content and unlockables that I will probably never complete because I won't invest the time. Some of your favorite characters will require a grind to get unlocked. Still, I never doubted if I should add this game to my collection. I recommend the physical copy so you can play it 10 years from now. Don't forget, people still own N64s and the original Super Smash Bros is probably the main reason why.

At the start, I was skeptical on the battle mechanics as they differ than that of Smash 4 in certain areas. Particularly the way the air dodge system works. Gameplay is still fun and I'd say it's the most fast paced it's ever been. But let me get to the real reason I gave this game 5 stars. Look at Pichu. Have you ever seen a more beautiful being? Finally back from Melee, after all these years, he has trained and is now ready to take his place as the King of Smash. His tiny little legs, His perfect happy smile. You can rest assured that while you're annihilating your opponent they aren't going to rage quite or cancel out the match on you because even though you're relentlessly beating the crap out of them, you're just too darn cute to be mad at. Go ahead, hit that taunt button. You know you need to.

This one of the Switch's best games! While the fighting genre is not among the type that i play the most, it is easy to get into the mechanics of this game. I am not disappointed with this purchase!.

The amount of music, tiny details, big details, everything in this game is amazing! I honestly don’t even know how to put it into words. It feels like they ironed out the kinks with 4, redid the models and animations, and created something that everybody would love, which is very impressive. The only thing I’m not really a fan of it world of light as an adventure mode, it feels more like an event mode. That said, it’s easy to use as a character unlock station!

Non-stop excitement. This was purchased for my 5 year old. He can turn the game on himself and play thru breakfast and lunch (seriously). Competition mode brings another level of excitement. Great for all ages. Would definitely recommend.

Bought this game for my 5 yr old and after figuring out the difficulty settings, he’s enjoying it immensely.

Purchased this copy as a gift for a friend, because I already own it. This is a must have for most Switch owners—Smash Bros makes for an excellent party game much in the same way as Mario Kart or Mario Party. If you want to get serious with it though, there’s a great level of depth—there are tons of technical skills you can master, and techniques that ho far beyond casual play. It is however a very accessible game, and is not your typical fighting game. The roster is absolutely huge, even before you account for all the DLC fighters. Plenty of content to keep you occupied. I will say though, that there isn’t a real story mode like in Melee or Brawl, which may disappoint some.

We bought it for my cousin and he brought it to New Years. It was extremely entertaining for all the kids. Everyone enjoyed it. It is a great family game and brought everyone together. Definitely recommend if you have big family parties.

My daughter asked for it for Christmas she screamed and said this was the best Christmas when she got this game with the Nintendo switch new version I didn't get as a bundle I paid for it separately but it was worth it.
