Never had more fun playing a co-op game mode before. Had so many memories playing melee with friends.

Smash Ultimate is easily the greatest collection of the Smash Bros franchise. Bringing ALL characters from Smash 64 through Smash for Wii U, along with some new faces, has created the best fighting game of all time. The new adventure mode "World of Light" has fantastic RPG elements meshed together with the traditional fighting game action of all previous Smash's! If you have a Switch and don't have Smash Ultimate, you are missing out!

My kids really enjoy this game, they can play together and it gives us something to do as a family.

Classic game. Everyone in our family enjoys playing it on the switch.

Purchased this game for my son's birthday and he loves it. He and his buddies play it all the time.

I got this game from a recommendation and have not regretted it. This game is so fun that we bought a second copy of it so we can play online with others. You can play on the same system, but it is better if you have your own tv/monitor to play against others. We even play on-line while we are all at home.

Loving the new smash! Got a Nintendo Switch console purely for this game and not regretting it one bit! Perfect to play with friends or in your own. Cool new dynamics like spirits, training, and amibo compatibility. Less of a story mode than Super Smash Bros Brawl, but still an overarching story in the single player Spirits mode. Got it at the early 11pm release some Best Buy’s did and got a $10 Best Buy reward for pre-ordering!

This game you can never go wrong with it either playing alone or playing with others its fun either way. Brings back memories but obviously better graphics :)

Who doesn’t love Super Mario Bros?! I’ve always loved this game and glad it’s out again as an adult!

For multiplayer? You can't go wrong. Any longtime fan of the Smash Bros. series will find a great time to be had with the expansive (and updated) roster of characters. The only huge issue is the online performance, which can be horrid if you encounter a host with a bad connection. More so than other fighting games, it seems. Nintendo still doesn't quite have this online thing down... Single-player? Prepare for a headache. The game's AI is incredibly cheap at high levels (clearly reading inputs to dodge and counter with frame-perfect timing). This makes the more difficult challenges on the Spirit Board and World of Light incredibly infuriating. Even unlocking characters can be a chore if the game decides you don't get to win. Overall, the cheap and abusive AI is not quite enough to ruin the entire experience for me, a single-player minded player. But it has left me leaving the game with a sour taste in my mouth after some time player.

A must have game if you have the Nintendo switch. The kids love playing this game.
