Smash ultimate is the culmination of nintendo history colliding into their biggest effort yet. With over 70 characters there is a fighter for every player to enjoy. This game has a robust single player story that uses upgrade "spirits" to take on many themes challenges and plenty of returning single player modes but multiplayer is where the game shines. Local multiplayer offers standard smash and a few new options such as squad strike blackout and more to keep you coming back.

Bought this for my son who has been a huge Smash Bros fan from the beginning. Now we have to fight over possession of the Switch. He has been adamantly working to unlock the characters. As of this writing he's needs 10 more for success . He likes the portability & the ability to hook up to big screen. I think this game has enough variety for those familiar with the franchise. It can be easily played by little ones without being frustrated & competitive enough for gamers.

these games are always a ton of fun, and this one is no exception. the only downside is i barely see my kids anymore.

As someone who has enjoyed every Super Smash game since the original on N64, I can confidently claim that this latest entry is the high point of the series so far. Loaded with an unreal amount of content, various challenges and the most entertaining modes for either solo or multiplayer sessions, Super Smash Bros Ultimate seems to offer truly countless hours of fun and thrills. The game's graphics and performance also seem to be nearly flawless in either TV or handheld modes.

The game is awesome to play with friends and the online is very challenging. I recommend this game 100%!

I had not been super into Smash Bros. prior to this game's release, but that all changed when I played the game. All the Nintendo Directs and information leaking online about the game had scared me away from this, until I finally decided to give in and buy it. After playing my first match, I knew this had been the best fighting game that I had played since Mortal Kombat 9. Not comparable, but I'm not really a crazy fighting game fan. All and all, this game is awesome!

fun game if u like street fighter type games. joy cons float a lil while playing so makes it hard. besides that funfun

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is, admittedly, my first Smash game. With its long history, I felt a bit overwhelmed and daunted before I got the game. However, this "Ultimate" nomenclature is excellent for seasoned veterans as well as new players like myself. The game is fun and holds my interest. It is also a great game to play with friends. The Nintendo Switch is a fantastic console to support a game like this and I would recommend Smash for anyone that's remotely interested.

My kids, 6 and 9, love this game! Its neat you can earn new characters and that there are lots of different venues to choose from. They are enjoying learning about all the cool tricks characters can do. Definitely worth the purchase.

We are still learning this game. A little hard for 5 year old but he loves Mario Kart and can navigate well.
