Best game ever(for me) bought it at least 10 times.

This was a birthday gift for my Grandson he enjoyed playing

If you like fighting games and don't own this, buy it! I'm 43 and I play this almost daily with my two kids in a perpetual struggle to see who is the toughest in the house!

An amazing game that unfortunately couldn’t get my hands earlier on. Great for singles and more people which makes it a great game for many people.

Its smash bros. I dont know if this need explaining but I will for the sake of the review. I find the gameplay flawless. The story mode is surprisingly fun and engaging. I wouldnt look for a storyline really but its a fighting game I think thats to be expected. I love it. Smash all day and on the go. Gamecube cobtrollers are nice to play on in my opinion

This is a great game for a Christmas gift for your kid!

From a casual standpoint, this is the best smash bros game to date. The gameplay feels similar to Smash for Wii U, but everything feels better. Only thing I don't like is the buffer/input delay, but once you get used to it it's not too bad. I probably won't get too serious with this game, but it's fun to have and play casually. The story mode took like 15-20 hours to beat, was enjoyable.

YIKES!!! My youngest son left the game out on the shelf, under the TV and our wonderful little Border Collie decided it was a "snack". She didn't ACTUALLY eat it though, just plenty of chewing making it unplayable. The fact that we purchased it AGAIN should tell you that it's a great game, lot's of fun and very playable! Now ALL GAMES get put away immediately after!

Great game if you're into choose-your-fighter type games. Also great to play with family members and children if they have any sense of competitiveness. If you're getting this for yourself or for a family member-- make sure they have the Nintendo online subscription ($20 for a year is your best deal) so that they have access to the online multiplayer feature. The game is OK without it, but if you don't have anyone to constantly play with- the online multiplayer is practically a must-have feature to have access to. At the time of writing this review, be sure to link your game to your nintendo eshop account and to check your eshop EMAIL ADDRESS! I bought this game 12/24/18 and received the piranha plant exclusive character code VIA EMAIL from Nintendo 1-2 days after. Keep an eye out for it as it might take up to 1 week after. Simply activating the digital copy will not get you the exclusive character- you need to redeem the separate code that you're sent via email- then you'll be able to have access to the character when its released in 2019. Hope this helps!

They only give you 8 fighters to start with, but you can earn over 50. Every characters basic attacks and Smash attacks are exactly the same. The only thing that makes them different are their specials. Unfortunately the best part of the game, using items to pick up and change the battle dramatically, in the previous version was not allowed in ranked mode. I haven’t explored all the modes, mainly because of my bandwidth, but is like every other Super Smash Bros game online, you either love it or hate it based on what it is.. If you want to play online, eventually the Wii U and 3DS version will be gone and this is the only version in town, and probably the most popular version too. The only ting that would have made it better was to somewhat differentiate the special moves form other characters, in terms of reach, power, and quickness.

Great customer service when buying product. Clean and crisp. Whole lotta fun for friends to hang out and host get togethers providing great entertainment for kids and adults. Can’t go wrong.

I tend to buy fighting games, play for 5 minutes, and then never play them again. SSBU is different - it's so accessible and easy to play, that it's hard to put down. Furthermore, when I do try to stop playing, something new pops up (e.g. new character unlocks), that I feel like I have to keep playing. Multiplayer is great, and lag-free. An excellent addition to Nintendo's library!

One of the best fighting games ever. Period. The only one that comes close is marvel vs. cap com but this is better. I understand it can get expensive with the fighters pass but I think it’s worth it. I have over 2000 in the game, by far my most played game on the switch. Possibly the best ever.

I've played smash bros before but never owned one of the other smash releases. I bought this one mainly for cloud and I was content with just playing with him. Playing the campaign though really opened me up to playing with the other characters and made me really enjoy all the other characters. I'm not a fighting game enthusiast but smash is my favorite game on the switch.
